Chapter 13: Straw Hat Luffy's First Bounty, Garp Decides, Thanks to xi1687.. for the Monthly Ticket[1]

"You'll get a chance later, Luffy. For now, let's deal with the Marines in front of us."

"Also, I'm getting more and more impressed, Captain Morgan."

"Normally, after seeing my attack just now, people would understand they're not my match."

"So what kind of power is supporting you to stand in front of me so bravely, looking so fierce?"

Rozi turned his head and looked at Morgan, who was standing nearby.

"You bastard, I won't forgive you! You destroyed my statue!"

"That statue symbolizes the great me!"

Morgan roared in anger and lifted the axe in his hand, about to smash it down on Rozi.

"Bastard, don't interrupt me while I'm watching Drake's cannon."

"Gum-Gum… Leg Knife!"

Luffy threw a side kick. With his rubber body, his leg instantly stretched, and when it reached Morgan, a huge dining-knife phantom appeared around Luffy's leg.

Luffy's kick cleaved into Morgan's axe. This time, it not only sent Morgan flying, it even shattered the axe in his hand.

Toriko's Leg Knife, huh? Luffy should've only gotten Hand Knife among the initial skills.

So he really is the chosen one of this world. His combat talent is completely top-tier.

Rozi silently nodded as he watched Luffy charge straight at Morgan and punch him in the stomach.

"Fivefold Nail Punch!"

Bang, bang, bang…

Luffy's fist slammed into Morgan's abdomen, and the delayed punch force kept lifting Morgan's body into the air.

After he rose ten meters high, he crashed heavily onto the ground.

After taking consecutive powerful hits, Morgan, who wasn't strong to begin with, shut his eyes on the spot.

Even if he wasn't dead, it would be hard for him to move normally.

"Whew. Toriko's moves really are awesome."

"I wonder, if I go all out right now, how many Nail Punches I can throw."

Luffy scratched his head. After glancing at the trembling Marines to the side, he turned back toward Rozi and the others.

"Everyone, let's leave. This has nothing to do with me now."

As soon as he finished speaking, Nami and Zoro spoke at the same time.

Nami: "Idiot, don't leave before we find treasure."

Zoro: "Bastard, I still haven't gotten my swords back!"

...

Marine Headquarters.

Fleet Admiral's office.

"Fleet Admiral Sengoku, is there any news about Gion and that bastard Rozi?"

Tokikake, the Admiral candidate known as Chaton, pushed open the office door and quickly walked up to Sengoku.

"Tokikake."

Sengoku was holding a Den Den Mushi receiver and lifted his head to glance at Tokikake.

He didn't blame Tokikake for being so rash.

After all, Tokikake's feelings for Gion were something everyone in the Marines acknowledged, and Gion was currently missing after being captured by Rozi.

"I found Rozi. That man showed up in Shells Town in the East Blue."

"He and a pirate named Luffy defeated Captain Morgan together."

"Based on testimony from those Marines, Rozi joined a pirate crew called the Luffy Pirates."

"I believe that as long as we find that Luffy, we can lock onto Rozi and Gion's location."

Hearing this, Tokikake's eyes immediately lit up.

"Great. We finally found that guy's trail."

"Fleet Admiral Sengoku, let me go to the East Blue. I want to personally rescue Gion and help her escape Rozi's clutches."

Tokikake clenched his fist and said excitedly.

"I know you're excited, Tokikake, but I have another assignment for you."

"This mission will go to Garp. He's already set out for the East Blue."

After calming Tokikake with a couple of words, Sengoku suddenly roared into the Den Den Mushi receiver in his hand:

"Garp, look at what kind of grandson you raised!"

"He dares to become Rozi's captain. That man is the one who killed a Celestial Dragon!"

"Your grandson seems to have become Rozi's disciple and learned some weird moves from him."

"Aren't you worried the World Government will execute your grandson along with him?"

Tokikake blinked, finally realizing Sengoku had been talking to Garp.

There was silence from the Den Den Mushi for a moment, and only after quite a while did Garp's voice come through.

"Sengoku, give me some time. Don't reveal Luffy's relationship with Rozi yet."

"I'll personally go find Luffy and Rozi, then give them a proper beating."

Garp said in a deep voice.

Clearly, he was furious that Rozi had gotten involved with Luffy.

"For your sake, I'll keep their relationship out of the public eye for now."

"But you'd better speed up, Garp. No slacking off this time."

"Also, Luffy beat up a Marine captain and seems to have some strange power."

"For that, I'll set his bounty at 20,000,000 Berries. Any objections?"

Sengoku said.

"Do what you want."

"Don't worry. I'll definitely find Rozi and rescue both Luffy and Gion from his hands."

Garp replied firmly, without the slightest hesitation.

"Good! Then it's up to you!"

Sengoku nodded in satisfaction.

After that, Sengoku hung up.

No matter what, he never would've guessed—

Gion wasn't in Rozi's hands at all. Right now, Gion was being taken by Reiju at full speed toward a Marine base somewhere.
