Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

Jena gave Jeslin a pill to give to Arthur to stop his bleeding while she took care of Aslan first.

Jena opened the medicine box, took out a syringe of anesthetic, and injected it around the stomach area she was going to stitch up. Once the anesthetic took effect, Jena quickly stitched the wound, then applied her homemade ointment, which would speed up the skin's recovery process ten times faster, and covered it with a bandage to protect it from dust and water. For other wounds that did not need stitches, Jena simply applied the ointment, which would ensure that the wounds would be healed by the next day.

During the stitching process, Aslan stared at the girl in front of him in awe. His gaze softened as he watched Jena focus on treating her wounds. Aslan could only watch from the side, secretly admiring the veiled girl. The girl in front of him had long, neatly tied hair, large eyes with long eyelashes, and light brown eyes that added to her beauty.

Aslan's heart beat fast as those soft fingers applied ointment to his wound. Aslan had an athletic body, a very handsome face with a firm jaw, and black hair. The crown prince of the Janur Kingdom was known for being very cold and indifferent, his sharp gaze and jet-black eyes adding to his intimidating aura.

Aslan always treated others, especially women, bluntly. If he didn't like something, he would say so directly without regard for politeness. However, when it comes to his family, Aslan is warm and loving. Aslan has two siblings, his twin brother Arthur and his only sister, Arine. Until now, his family has been his only priority, but perhaps in the future, the girl in front of him will become his priority as well.

When Aslan first saw her fighting, something caught his attention, especially her strange and fast fighting style. The girl often used invisible secret weapons so that enemies could be easily defeated in a short time. Then the other girl who helped Arthur was also very good at archery, her bow was very different. With a single shot, she could release dozens of arrows, killing many enemies in a short time. The more Aslan watched, the more he felt the charm of the girl who had helped him radiating, directly entering his frozen heart and melting it. Her cold face when killing enemies made Aslan fall even more under her spell.

"All right, it's done. Don't let the wound get wet for now. For minor wounds, they'll heal tomorrow, while stitched wounds will heal in two days. You can remove the bandage after two days. You also have internal injuries that haven't healed yet; I'll give you these pills. Take them every morning and night for a week, and your internal injuries will heal completely," Jena said flatly as she handed him ointment and small white pills in a glass bottle.

She knew that while she was treating him, the man was always staring at her, and that made her uncomfortable. Besides, she wouldn't be seeing them again, so Jena didn't care.

"Yes, thank you, Miss," Aslan replied softly. His eyes showed no surprise that this girl knew about his internal wound. As a healer, she could tell his condition just by checking his pulse. Jena didn't answer and just nodded her head.

Now it was Jena's turn to treat Arthur, telling him to lie on his stomach. Arthur was injured on his back. This man's body was also like Aslan's, muscular and handsome. His muscles were perfectly formed, making this man her type too.

Aslan, who saw Jena holding Arthur's body, didn't like it. His face turned gloomy, and even his cold aura made Arthur shiver. He didn't like the girl touching another man's body, even if it was his own sister. His girl was only allowed to touch his body, but he could only keep this feeling to himself because they didn't have a personal relationship.

Unlike Aslan, Jena was of course very happy when she saw the naked body of a handsome, muscular man like this.

"Oh my god, why are men in this era so handsome and manly? Look at his muscles, they're all so perfect. Ah, my eyes are so happy to see them without clothes!" Jena shouted in her heart, which was not in line with her flat and cold attitude, covering up her heart that was screaming with joy.

Like Jena, Jeslin also loved handsome men and their muscular bodies. Jeslin had the ability to assess a man's strength just by looking at his body. When the two men took off their shirts and Jeslin saw them, she was very surprised when she assessed the strength of the two men, who seemed to be no ordinary people, causing Jeslin to be cautious and signal her sister to leave quickly.

Jena, who saw the signal Jeslin gave, immediately realized that the two men in front of her had unusual status. Her face turned cold and she quickly finished her work, stitching Arthur's back wound and applying ointment. Jena gave the ointment to Aslan so they could use it if they got hurt again.

"Thank you, miss, for your help. Um, may we know your names?" Aslan asked kindly, trying to make conversation. But it seemed difficult because the girl put up a high barrier, preventing Aslan from knowing her name.

"Our names are not important. We have to leave immediately. Goodbye, sir, and take care," replied Jena, who wanted to leave immediately after packing up her equipment, but Aslan stopped her.

"Wait, miss. It's fine if we can't know your name. But please accept this as a token of our gratitude," said Aslan as he handed her a bag full of gold coins.

Jena saw the bag of gold coins, her eyes sparkled briefly, and she immediately put on an indifferent expression again. However, Aslan had seen the sparkle in her eyes when she saw the money. It seemed that the girl in front of him really liked a lot of money, and Aslan would work harder to earn a lot of gold coins to propose to this girl in the future.

"This money is not much, so please accept it," said Aslan again, insisting that the girl accept his gold coins.

Jena, who heard the man's words, coughed several times before accepting them.

"Ahem... ahem... hmm, well, if you insist, I won't refuse. I'll take it. Thank you for the money. Well then, we'll be going now!"

Jena put the coin in her arm pocket, even though she put it in her dimensional necklace. Jena and Jeslin waved their hands and immediately hurried away, back into the forest.

After seeing the shadows of the two girls disappear, Aslan sighed, regretting that he didn't know the girl's name. When he turned to look at Arthur, his gaze turned sharp and cold.

"Let's return to the palace, Arthur. It seems someone wants to play games and target the two of us."

"Hm, you're right, Brother," said Arthur. His attitude wasn't much different from Aslan's. Coldness and cruelty flashed in his eyes.

Arthur had always been on the battlefield, and this was the first time he had returned to the palace because Aslan had forced him to accompany him outside the palace. Arthur preferred outdoor activities to sitting quietly in the palace dealing with piles of documents.

Aslan, who did not want to involve his right-hand man in investigating this case, contacted Arthur to accompany him. Besides, his right-hand man had to finish his work at the palace, replacing him while he took a break from the piles of documents that bored and confused him.
