The attendants dressed me in an alluring dress that looks a bit fancy.
Lion left earlier as he had to prepare for today's event. To my surprise, he showed me his katana which I didn't expect that he still had it.
With a tender kiss from him, he told me that I shouldn't worry about anything and that he would definitely win the event. He had already met with the rest of the pack and they made plans on not making the others win the event.
He admitted that this event has several strong warriors unlike before as plenty of them can use magic this time.
A lot of the other territories joined this recent event as the incidence of the pests are constantly appearing now compared to before.
I don't know if I'm overthinking but I have a feeling that this event somehow connected to the incidence of the demons appearing on this world.
Still, I need to investigate as all of these thoughts are just mere speculation.

The attendants did a great job when I looked at myself in the mirror. Of course, I did my own makeup in which the attendants pleaded with me to make them some.
I chuckled, telling them that I would definitely sell some someday, much to their excitement.
I brought my magic bag with me as a precaution as I'm nervous that something might happen unexpectedly.
Then the attendants accompanied me towards the courtyard where there's a huge crowd of all sorts of warriors, dressed like they are going to war.
Um.
Now I'm nervous at seeing those pests.
Suddenly, the attendants stopped walking.
I've got a bad feeling about this.
They told me that from this point, I should walk alone towards the Chieftain Monarch who was waiting for me outside. I began to panic and pleaded with them to accompany me as I don't want to be the center of attention in walking through the crowd. They looked at me with pity as they comforted me, telling me how sorry they are but they aren't allowed to.
After several comforting words, I calmed down in which they smiled at me and told me that whenever I'm here at the palace, they would try to help me as much as they are allowed to.
So I straightened up and took a deep breath.
Then I slowly went towards the courtyard alone.

At the sound of my footsteps, the crowd fell silent as they all turned to look at me.
I kept a poker face as I focused on walking towards the Chieftain Monarch who is sitting in an open carriage at the end of the courtyard, near the entrance of the palace, much to my dismay.
I don't know why they are fascinated with me as there are plenty of creatures that are much more attractive than me.
I suddenly realized that it has something to do with me being the only one of my kind as even us humans tend to become fascinated at things that are unique. For instance, a person whose beauty that is common in a certain country may look exquisite if they moved to another country who doesn't have the same beauty like them.
You get the point.
Lion had told me before that he's fascinated looking at me having parts of the body that seemed to look well together unlike them.
Several creatures have human like parts of the body but they are always attached to something beast like or other unhuman parts.
I saw Ghost looking at me in which I stopped and smiled at him while his face turned red as his companions crowded around him, nudging him while asking him several questions that he yelled at them, nearly starting a brawl.
I continued on walking in which to my surprise, I saw Orm approaching me with several winged serpents that are taller than him that are following him. He took my hand and kissed the back of my hand in which I asked him if he is alright with them guarding him. He smiled at me tenderly as he assured me that they won't treat him badly again after what happened last time.
That's good to know.
But I still have to investigate the real story behind his parents as the story that I heard about them seems highly suspicious.

Alpha looked really good wearing his armor in which I told him much to his delight as he immediately embraced me while I heard several whispers from his comrades. He nuzzled my face in which I told him to be careful during the hunt as I'm worried about him, making him laugh as he told me that he definitely will as he still has plans for us. I told him I would look forward to it much to his excitement.

Sly and I stared at each other in which his eyes showed intense desire towards me as I told him that I missed spending time with him. He smiled tenderly at me as he took my hand, taking time in holding it before closing his eyes and kissing the palm of my hand.
No words are needed between us as we seemed to understand each other.
I was about to continue walking towards the carriage when I saw in the corner of my eye Sly grasping his locket towards his chest.
I turned around and told him to keep safe as I want to spend more time with him in the future.
His eyes looked like he is in complete joy upon hearing the words that I said to him.
Then I continued walking.

I glanced around, looking for Lion as I'm a few steps away from the carriage. Then I heard footsteps behind me in which when I turned around, I saw Lion dressed up like he is some sort of a war god.
His hair is tied up while his katana is attached to his belt.
I felt butterflies in my stomach in which I can feel my heart started to beat fast.
He looked great.
Somehow I became mute as I just kept staring at him.
He embraced me while nuzzling my ear, telling me in a low voice that I looked exquisite and breathtaking that he will do his best to destroy everything fast so he can take me away and.....
I hurriedly covered his mouth in which I can feel myself turned red as he looked at me with amusement in his eyes.
So you think it's funny huh?
I told him to lower his head in which he did as I whispered into his ear that if we were alone right now, I would let him mount me then and there. Then I licked his earlobe.
He widened his eyes as he turned red in which he kept on clearing his throat as the Chieftain Monarch looked towards us with amusement in his face.
I got into the carriage in which I sat down beside the Chieftain Monarch as he signaled everyone to move out.
It was fascinating to see all sorts of creatures marching, flying and riding all sorts of flying equipment. It reminded me again on how magical this world is compared to my previous world.
Lion flew towards me and kissed me passionately for a short while before telling me that he would definitely win this event. I can hear Sly calling him in which he nuzzled my neck before joining Sly and his companions.
I kept on staring at him when suddenly the Chieftain Monarch asked me if I really loved Lion.
That question is out of the blue.
I turned my head to look at him when I saw the Chieftain Monarch's eyes looking at the sky with indescribable emotion.
Telling him how much Lion means to me brought a sad smile to his face in which he told me that he has a lot of regrets in his life.
He knew that I truly loved Lion when I accepted the offer of the Leader of his council that in exchange for Lion's freedom, I would subject myself to intense pain.
I have a feeling that the Chieftain Monarch has a story in which I'm intrigued to find out in the future.
For now, I'll just concentrate on building a friendship with him as I might need his help in investigating a lot of things.
So many mysteries yet so little time as it seems that the appearance of the demons seems to bring more chaos in this world.
I tried to tell the Chieftain Monarch what I know in which when I opened my mouth to speak, nothing came out. The Chieftain Monarch looked at me with confusion in his eyes in which I acted like I'm thirsty out of embarrassment.
A bottle of water materialized out of the blue in which I thanked him as I drank the entire contents of the bottle despite the fact that I'm not thirsty at all.
Then we fell silent as the carriage flew into the air.
