Junia's pov;
Ishkara's face is expressionless, "May we talk in my chamber?"
"No, we will talk about mine," I brushed past her. The air was stiff between us. I am so angry she tried to kill me, I should show her the power I have over her as her king's mate.
I opened the door to my chamber, for her to go in. I walked in right after her, closing the door right behind me.
"You are not scared, I might hurt you?" Ishkara questioned, facing me and towering over me.
I smiled at her, "And how sure are you that you can hurt me? Hmm."
Her face didn't reveal anything, instead she studied me. "You have changed"
"And you are still staying here in the palace despite the fact that I might tell on you?" I walked to my bed and sat on the edge of my bed. "You took me not telling Ashmaris about you as a weakness and think you can scare me?"
She turned to me with a smirk playing on her lips, "yes, it is. Because why haven't you said anything yet? If you are so confident"
