Alvin Morgan chuckled softly. "What does it have to do with you?"
"You—" Indie Lowell flared with anger in an instant, the Power in her body surging.
Aurora Sinclair took a step forward, shielding the others behind her as she watched Indie with a placid gaze.
Even though there was no fluctuation of Power from her, she was inexplicably terrifying.
Indie Lowell retreated half a step, her heart filled with resentment as she asked, "You just trust him like that?"
Her eyes were rimmed with red, and her sharp nails dug viciously into her palm.
Aurora Sinclair nodded. "He won't harm us."
"I won't either! I'm—"
"Ms. Lowell, thank you for your care." Aurora Sinclair quickly cut her off and gave her a bow. While Indie was stunned, Aurora snatched up Titus Miles and raced downstairs at incredible speed.
"Senior Sister..." Leigh Miles shot Indie Lowell a worried glance before hurrying downstairs after Aurora Sinclair.
In the stairwell, only the three of them remained in a standoff.
