SIZZLE...
The clear venom missed Lin Li and spattered onto the grass. Instantly, the small patch of lush green vegetation it drenched began to emit wisps of white smoke. In less than a few seconds, the plants had all withered and yellowed, devoid of any life.
'That's some potent venom.' Lin Li thought, gazing at the withered vegetation. Although he knew he was on guard and wouldn't get hit, seeing the effect of the venom still sent a slight shiver down his spine.
"It's getting away!" one of the Exotic Beast Hunters shouted. Lin Li looked up at the Bamboo-Leaf Green Snake.
The heavily injured Bamboo-Leaf Green Snake was in a sorry state, fleeing frantically into the distance. It could no longer afford to worry about its wounds. As it fled, it left a bright red trail on the ground, a stain from its gushing blood.
'If I let you get away, I'd die of embarrassment.'
