Naomi Kenway shoved the butler aside and slowly advanced. The jagged opening of the vase was pointed directly at the male servant's neck. The moment she pushed it forward slightly, the man cried out in fear.
Her eyes were bloodshot with rage, her voice bone-chilling. "I'll ask you again. How long has this been going on?"
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." The servant was scared witless, able to do nothing but mindlessly repeat his apologies.
Naomi Kenway raised her hand and slapped him. Her slender fingers wrapped around his throat. "I asked you, how long have you been bullying him?"
"H-How long..." With his throat constricted, the male servant couldn't breathe, let alone speak.
The butler finally understood what was happening. Though his heart ached, he still moved to stop Naomi Kenway, afraid that if this continued, a life would be lost.
Naomi Kenway also knew not to go too far. She released her grip, looking down on the vermin kneeling on the floor, coughing wretchedly.
