Christina Lynch and Renee Jennings came into the living room. Renee kept glancing toward the upstairs bedroom and couldn't help but say, "Mona is just a child. He's only six. Why are you being so hard on him?"
"He's been getting more rebellious and disobedient since he turned five. Now he even dares to disown you as his mother and smash your phone. When I get old, he'll probably unplug my oxygen tank!" Christina Lynch sat on the sofa, his face flushed with anger.
Renee Jennings sighed.
"When we first got together, I promised I'd never let you suffer any grievance. I can't believe Mona was so rude to you this time." Christina Lynch personally handed her a cup of herbal tea. "Don't worry. I'll discipline him properly."
Renee Jennings didn't take the cup, her expression still troubled.
Christina Lynch finally noticed her sullen mood. He quickly sat beside her and put an arm around her shoulder. "What's wrong? Did someone upset you?"
