...

The bloody battle was now over. All that remained were the Ratman Warriors cowering under drawn blades after kneeling in surrender, and the lifeless bodies of Ratmen piled among the carnage.

Qin Feng directly opened the system panel, letting it slowly unfold before his eyes, and began to examine the lines of loot information floating in the Void, one by one.

'Huh?'

'A new building?'

'An Archer Training Camp?'

'So I have to train villagers into Militia before I can train them into Archers?'

'I get it.'

'Militia must be the most basic combat Soldier Type.'

'Other types of soldiers are just advanced paths for the Militia, like a promotion or an evolution.'

'And as an advanced branch of the Militia, Archers should be able to advance further. They could become Elite Archers who specialize in sniping key enemy targets, or Bow Cavalry who are experts at kiting enemies on horseback.'

'And so on...'

After figuring out the function of the new soldier-type building, Qin Feng's gaze fell upon the two remaining key spoils of war.

The Hunting Short Bow.

A Bow Weapon labeled "Good Quality."

Compared to the trash-quality Wooden Short Bow in his hands, this weapon's effectiveness was a complete transformation. It would drastically increase the damage of his arrows and extend their maximum range.

There was no need to hesitate; he equipped it immediately.

Then, he tossed the Wooden Short Bow, its Durability nearly depleted, into his "warehouse" to gather dust.

The Triple Shot Skill.

It was another great find.

First, you aim at an enemy's body part, then you fire three arrows in one go.

Thanks to the perfectly consistent impact points, the skill could unload a massive amount of damage in a short time. It was especially suited for taking down high-powered enemies or breaking a stalemate, serving as a trump card to turn the tide of battle.

However, using the skill consumed a large amount of his Physical Strength, weakening his sustained combat ability.

Therefore, it couldn't be used multiple times in a protracted battle of attrition.

He would have to carefully plan its use and conserve his strength.

With that thought, Qin Feng took the Triple Shot Skill Book from his system inventory, placed it flat in his palm, and learned it.

In an instant, the ancient Skill Book erupted in a pearlescent spiritual light that seeped into Qin Feng's mind like a stream of fireflies. It was as if a dormant bowstring had suddenly been pulled taut, every node resonating with a clear hum.

[You have learned the skill "Triple Shot"!]

After absorbing the knowledge in his mind, Qin Feng snatched up the Hunting Short Bow. The string vibrated at his fingertips as he drew it into a full moon, his gaze locking onto a gnarled tree trunk thirty feet away.

"Triple Shot!"

The bowstring thrummed, unleashing a sharp sound that split the air. Three arrows, like silver serpents tempered in lightning, shot forth one after another, leaving three parallel afterimages in their wake.

With three dull thuds—THWAP, THWAP, THWAP—the three fletched arrows embedded themselves deep into the trunk in a triangular pattern. Their tails were still quivering, sending several flakes of peeling bark rustling to the ground.

'Not bad.'

'The power is much greater than before.'

'If I were to shoot at those Withered Leaf Tribe Ratman Warriors now, I could probably blast a huge hole right through their black breastplates...'

Furthermore, as a pure combat skill, Triple Shot required no tedious, precise movements or deliberate angle calculations. He only needed to focus, lock onto the target, and activate the mysterious power in his mind. Everything else that followed would execute automatically, like a preset program.

It was as if the three arrows, upon leaving the string, were guided by invisible threads. They adjusted their own flight paths in mid-air, maintaining a distance from each other precise to the millimeter.

Finally, they would converge like a three-sided pyramid, their tips simultaneously sinking into the heart of the target.

'This feeling...'

'It's a bit like playing a video game.'

With that thought, Qin Feng slung the Hunting Short Bow over his back, swung himself onto a large-bodied Forest Wolf beside him, and strode imperiously to the main gate of the Poison Arrow Tribe's village.

Standing on the wall, Dongzhua looked at the familiar face and immediately recognized him as the Divine Chosen Lord he had gone to "pledge loyalty" to that very morning.

He whispered in disbelief:

"L-Lord!?"

'What the hell!'

'The Divine Archer who just routed the Withered Leaf Tribe Ratman army was actually that human Lord?'

'How could his archery be so incredible?'

'Wait!'

'That's not the point!'

'The point is, Ka only ran south for reinforcements about ten minutes ago. That's not nearly enough time for an army from the Lord's territory to get here. So how did he arrive directly with a dozen or so Forest Wolves?'

'Could it be?'

'Did they run into each other on the way?'

'But that guy, Ka, is clearly not in the Lord's party.'

'Besides, judging by the path the Lord and the Forest Wolves took, they didn't seem to come from the castle territory to the south, but from the forest to the north...'

Before Dongzhua could think any further, Qin Feng gave him a cool glance and issued an order:

"Dongzhua, have your villagers come out and clean up the battlefield."

"As for the corpses of the Withered Leaf Tribe Ratmen, you can deal with them however you see fit."

"But all the weapons and equipment carried by the Ratman Warriors must be carefully tallied and then sent to my castle."

"Remember."

"All of the weapons and equipment."

"I don't want to find anyone hiding things that belong to me."

Hearing this, Dongzhua froze for a moment before snapping back to reality. He hurriedly tried to imitate the Knight's salute he remembered from Diablo, performing a still-comical bow to Qin Feng:

"Yes!"

"Lord!"

"I'll arrange for people to do it at once!"

[Because you displayed incomparably powerful might before the members of the Poison Arrow Tribe, and saved them from the fate of being slaughtered by their mortal enemies, the Loyalty of your village, "Poison Arrow Tribe," has increased by 20 points!]
