Chapter 14 - Chapter 13: Badanian Fiona Champion Warrior Jinchuriki

Just as Qin Feng had predicted, the moment the Ratman Leader collapsed, the morale of the remaining Ratman Warriors crumbled like a bursting dam. Their once ironclad defensive line suddenly fell apart.

Afterward, influenced by the mysterious power of the Riding and Cutting system, they either became helpless captives—dropping their bloodstained Bone Blades and crouching on the ground with their heads in their hands, as motionless as if their very spines had been removed.

Or, crying out hoarse ramblings like, "Mama, I don't want to die!", they fled for their lives from the Lord's Hall's beast-carved main entrance, disappearing into the gloomy night.

The remaining group of Forest Wolves, however, did not completely break down.

But after losing the buff from the Ratman Leader Bakadi's Secret Technique, they fell into a prolonged state of Chaos and were steadily beaten back by the well-coordinated villagers.

This continued until the three overwhelmingly powerful Fire Foxes and the Forest Wolf rejoined the battle.

Only then did these not-so-stupid Forest Wolves finally come to their senses.

They surrendered one after another, becoming Qin Feng's captives.

[The battle has ended!]

[Your Divine Chosen Lord level has increased to Level 3!]

[Your Ranger level has increased to Level 5! Your Attributes have increased accordingly!]

[Your Life Value has been permanently increased by "Bloodthirsty"!]

[Your soldier, the "Fire Fox," benefited greatly from the battle, gained a certain amount of Combat Experience, and has met the conditions for advancement!]

[Your soldier, the "Forest Wolf," benefited greatly from the battle and gained a certain amount of Combat Experience!]

[In this battle, you relied on your powerful martial strength to successfully capture several enemies!]

[By slaying enemies and sacrificing their souls, you have received the favor of the King of War. You have obtained Divine Chosen Spoils from the enemies' corpses... Blacksmith Shop Construction Plan x1, Ancient Wood Battle Shield (Green) x1, Rusted Longsword (White) x2, Wolf Meat x5, Wolf Hide Material x2, Wolf Bone Material x4, Boiling Skill Book x1]

"Lord."

"We've already cleaned up the enemy corpses and bloodstains."

"The surrendered captives have all been locked in the dungeon."

"These are the items we confiscated from them."

"Please take a look."

[You have obtained: Wooden Short Bow (Gray) x3, Wooden War Spear (Gray) x5, Poison Arrow x38, Worn Leather Armor (Gray) x5, Wolf Meat x8, Bone Blade (Gray) x3, Beast Tooth Ornament (Gray) x1]

Qin Feng's gaze swept over the mountain of spoils piled on the Lord's Hall floor.

In an instant, a faint blue light representing the system emerged from the depths of his pupils. A semi-transparent information panel appeared above each item, projecting a dense stream of data onto his retinas.

[Blacksmith Shop Construction Plan: Consume 50 units of wood and 10 Stone to build a Blacksmith Shop. Train villagers to become blacksmiths. By consuming additional resources, you can forge suitable weapons and equipment for your soldiers and subjects, or repair and reforge damaged ones.]

[Ancient Wood Battle Shield (Green): A shield of good quality. When equipped, it can directly negate a large amount of physical damage, but the shield's Durability will also decrease rapidly.]

[Rusted Longsword (White): A weapon of common quality. When used to attack, it provides the wielder with additional physical attack power.]

[Boiling Skill Book: A Lord Skill Book, restricted to Divine Chosen Lords. Consumes a certain amount of Magic Power to significantly increase the Attack Speed and movement speed of all soldiers under your command for a period of time. Has a short cooldown. (If you lose your status as a Divine Chosen Lord, skills of this type can no longer be used.)]

[Wooden Short Bow (Gray): A trash-quality ranged weapon with extremely low additional damage and Durability.]

[Poison Arrow: An arrow developed by the Poison Arrow Tribe. It deals long-lasting poison damage over time upon hitting an enemy. However, due to the poor quality of the wood used, its additional physical damage is extremely low.]

[Worn Leather Armor (Gray): Trash-quality armor. When worn, provides additional Defense Power and Life Value to the covered area. Has extremely low Durability and is about to break.]

...

All in all, the spoils from the Ratmen were quite generous.

It made the sacrifice of a precious Villager A—not to mention the bloody hole torn in his own chest by Bakadi's Bone Blade—worthwhile.

However, Qin Feng was not happy.

He wasn't heartbroken over the sacrificed villager, nor did he care about the searing pain from the gash in his chest, which was so deep he could see bone.

Instead, he was still brooding over the battle that had just ended.

The enemies from the Ratman Tribe had made a supremely foolish mistake. Not only did they fail to attack the Lord's Hall alongside the Forest Wolf Army, but their leader, the very core of their force, had recklessly broken formation and presented a perfect opportunity for Qin Feng to kill him one-on-one.

And yet, even with his three Fire Foxes and one Forest Wolf, he had still taken forever to finish off that old rat.

In fact, if Qin Feng and his units hadn't worked together to pin Bakadi down and prevent him from charging into the villagers' formation, that guy would have chopped off the heads of at least four or five villagers.

He might have even found a chance to seriously injure the main fighting force, his "Zoo" squad.

'Unbelievable!'

'Didn't he only have a Zero-star (Green) Combat Evaluation?'

'You call this Zero-star (Green)?'

'I'd be more likely to believe you if you told me he was Zero-star (Purple)!'

'Wait... could it be that a Warrior's understanding of Combat Skills isn't factored into the system's overall strength evaluation?'

Instantly, Qin Feng realized the true nature of the situation.

Although this was a mysterious Plane that resembled a Lord Game, many of its details still followed the rules and order found only in the Real World.
