Victor Morgan: "I'll give Lynch a call."
Jessie Sterling couldn't help but laugh out loud.
Victor Morgan pointed a finger at her playfully but didn't say anything. He just took out his phone and called Roman Lynch right in front of her.
Roman Lynch had just returned from his morning workout and was a little surprised to get a call from Victor Morgan.
"Morgan? What's up?"
Victor Morgan rarely called him at this time of day unless it was for something important.
Victor Morgan cleared his throat. "Yeah, I need a favor."
"Oh? Go ahead."
"It's about Nina Walsh," Victor Morgan said.
Roman Lynch: "...What did she do now?"
Even though it was just a voice on the phone, Jessie could practically imagine the look on Roman Lynch's face on the other end. It probably wasn't a pleasant one.
She was a little surprised. 'Last time I saw him, Roman Lynch seemed so concerned about Nina Walsh, even putting her before his own sister.'
