The young man thought for a moment. "I'm studying at the guest house."
Cecilia Adler found this a little strange. 'He has a home, so why is he staying at a guest house?' She didn't understand, but she respected his decision. "Is the guest house nice? Is it noisy?"
"It's alright."
Just then, their noodles arrived in generous portions.
Cecilia Adler couldn't finish hers, so she naturally scooped some into his bowl.
The young man looked down at the noodles, then back at her. "You... This isn't really okay, is it?"
"What's not okay about it?" Cecilia Adler dug in, then looked up after a couple of bites, her eyes filled with anticipation. "There's a dragon dance in the west end tonight. Want to go? You study so hard; you should relax a little. Look, you're even wearing glasses now."
The corner of the young man's mouth curved up. "Okay."
