Chapter 69 - Chapter 67: It's Not Like I'm Teaching Her Certain Techniques, Why Are You So Nervous?

Leon Lynch's lips curved into a faint smile, completely wiping away the melancholy from his eyes.

"Alright. I haven't seen you in so long, I've been going crazy missing you. Now that I finally get to see you, of course I can't leave." He grabbed her wrist, pulling Nora Ainsworth right in front of him.

Before Nora Ainsworth could speak, Leon Lynch had already pushed her a step forward, then followed closely behind.

Caught off guard, Nora Ainsworth stumbled forward from the momentum. She could already feel a sharp gaze from somewhere boring into her back, so intense it felt like it could burn a hole right through her.

She didn't look back, just kept walking straight ahead.

Herman Hawthorne stood there calmly, watching them. The corner of his mouth lifted as he said unhurriedly, "As her boyfriend, I must defend my rights. I'll be on my way."

He deliberately winked at Quentin Grant before chasing after Leon Lynch.
