"What do you mean, no? Go dance. Ethan, you go with her."

Jean Grant instinctively refused. "I don't want to dance with him."

Ethan Ellsworth's pride was a little wounded. "Even if you wanted to, you'd still have to see if *I* was willing."

Jean Grant glared at him. "That's right. For someone like you, there are plenty of women who'd be willing."

Ethan Ellsworth said sheepishly, "Good that you know."

Jean Grant turned and walked away.

"Where are you going?" Quentin Grant called after her.

"To find our mom." Her voice was drowned out by the music.

Herman Hawthorne sighed dramatically. "The world of love is just so complicated. I love you, but you love him, and he… he loves another~"

Ethan Ellsworth looked a little defeated, but his smile never faded. "'One person's loneliness, two people's mistake. Maybe it wasn't your fault, it was because you were too lonely~'"

"Are you two trying to start a singing competition?" Quentin Grant waved Nora Ainsworth over. "Come here."
