After touring Aurora Sterling's walk-in closet, the young socialites had each picked out a few items they liked. When they heard Aurora say she was worried Mrs. Sterling would be looking for her and that she wanted to head back to the banquet hall, no one objected. They were all happy to oblige.
As Rose White passed Sharon Dalton, she deliberately bumped her on the shoulder.
Sharon Dalton gritted her teeth and endured it. As much as she wanted to tear that idiot Rose White to shreds right then and there, she wasn't in a position to do so. If she recklessly picked a fight with Rose White, it wouldn't do her any good. In fact, it would only give people ammunition against her and earn her the disgust of the Sterling Family.
Aurora Sterling walked over and patted Sharon Dalton's shoulder sympathetically. "Sharon, don't worry about it. Today is my grandmother's party, so it wouldn't be good to have a falling out with Miss White. Just bear with it for now."
