Aurora Sterling sat there coldly. She had stopped crying by now, her eyes vacant as she watched her father and Joy Dalton scramble to defend each other.

Joy Dalton was crying her eyes out, making herself look utterly wronged, as if Timothy Sterling had forced her into everything and she was just an innocent victim.

And for all these years, Timothy Sterling had indeed believed just that. He blamed himself for everything, convinced that he was the one who had lost control while drunk, causing the current chaotic situation.

What a touching scene of mutual affection, of a love so deep and tender. It was as if preventing them from being together would be as cruel as tearing apart two lovebirds.

Then what did that make her mother? What did that make her and her sister?
