"Why are you here again?"
Aiden Shaw's deep voice held a nearly imperceptible trace of impatience.
Nancy's gaze fell on Aiden Shaw holding Laura Lowell's hand, and her eyes instantly blazed with fury. She was absolutely livid.
"Shaw, let go of her hand! Boys and girls shouldn't be so handsy!"
"She's my girlfriend. If there's nothing else, you should head home."
Aiden Shaw frowned, clearly telling her to leave.
He'd called Laura Lowell over to get some rest, but with Nancy here, how could she possibly sleep in peace?
Nancy, fuming, slammed her hand on the table. "Laura Lowell, just yesterday you told me you really like my Shaw! You can't just give away someone you care about so casually, especially when we barely know each other."
"Weren't those your exact words?"
"You're just treating my Shaw like some possession of yours! You don't actually care about him."
Nancy blurted it all out in a single breath, her face flushing bright red.
