"Tristan..." she called out, her voice trembling as she grabbed his clothes.
"Hm?" Tristan Grayson noticed his parents weren't in the living room and guessed they must be in the courtyard. He was about to take her out for dinner, but before he could even take a step, she grabbed his clothes.
"I... I... can we... can we not be here tonight...?"
Seeing how frightened she was, Tristan Grayson frowned and followed her gaze. Only then did he understand what she was afraid of. He reached out, pulled her into his arms, and asked softly, "Scared?"
"Mmm..." Mika Summers nodded, burrowing into his embrace, not daring to look up.
Tristan Grayson's handsome eyes fixed on her. "Don't be afraid," he said, his voice a low, roguish murmur. "If Grandma knew what we were up to, she'd be thrilled."
