Tristan Grayson happened to open the door just then. Her words made his heart lurch as an inexplicable panic flooded him. "Then don't leave!" 'After all this, this woman is still thinking about leaving me?'

His words shattered the last of her defenses, and all her love erupted at that moment. She looked up with tear-filled eyes and said firmly, her voice choked with emotion, "Tristan Grayson, you said it. Then I'm going to claim you for a lifetime!" As long as he didn't tell her to leave, she would never, ever leave his side.
