He shook his head and placed the meal on the bed tray.

'He definitely didn't believe Maggie Monroe, but as long as she was happy, he'd let her say whatever she wanted. It didn't matter to him.'

Seeing that Tristan didn't seem to doubt her, Maggie Monroe grew even more pleased with herself. "Tristan, the doctor said I can be discharged. When are we going home?"

Tristan Grayson's brow furrowed slightly. He thought for a moment before saying in a cold voice, "In the next day or two."

"Okay, Tristan. For you, I'll definitely work hard to get better." 'She believed that as long as she didn't give up, a miracle would happen. Just look at what happened this time—she'd pulled through against the odds, hadn't she?'
