Holly Winslow took off her backpack and set it on her desk. Then she flopped onto Iris Kensington's bed, blinked earnestly, and said, "But I already have a husband."
Iris Kensington and Anna Willow burst out laughing, thinking she'd read so many novels she'd lost her mind. Anna Willow sidled up to her with a sly grin. "Quick, tell us! Is it Leo Lowell or Third Young Master Quincy?"

Then, they heard Anna Willow add, "If Holly has a husband, then I have three! One Leo Lowell to do the laundry and cook, one Third Young Master Quincy to bring home the bacon, and one Caleb Langdon to eat and go shopping with me."

Iris Kensington held out a hand like a fortune-teller. "A quick divination tells me Holly's husband is still..."
