The man was taken aback, not expecting such a misunderstanding. He smiled openly and patted her shoulder. "Don't get the wrong idea. I just thought you should get a spa treatment to relax. You're so tense. Look at how stiff your shoulders are."
He said it casually, but Jenna Irving's face flushed bright red. The man's hand had kneaded her shoulder a couple of times. The motion wasn't a gentle caress, but it felt a little intimate.
"Thank you!" She lowered her head and followed the attendant, avoiding the man's smile. After taking a few steps, she remembered something and turned back.
"Um... I haven't asked your name yet..."
"Ryan Osborne," he said calmly, his expression unruffled, his tone frank and honest.
Jenna Irving nodded, then turned and followed the attendant into the spa.
