Adrian Quincy walked over, carrying a small black box, and stopped in front of the girl. "Just getting off work?"
"Uh, what are you doing here?"
The moment she asked, Claire Sinclair regretted it.
'This is the house he paid for. He can come whenever he wants. My question was pointless. It's not like he was here to see me, anyway.'
Adrian Quincy shoved the black box into her hands, then took out his keys to open the door. "Have you had dinner?"
"No. Have you?"
The man suddenly turned back to look at her, an inexplicable chill in the depths of his eyes.
Claire Sinclair's heart trembled, and she couldn't help but take a step back.
'This guy... his gaze is too fierce...'
"Eat on time from now on." After that emotionless statement, the man pushed the door open and went inside.
Claire Sinclair froze for a moment, then followed him inside.
