Claire Sinclair was a little worried. "But the doctor said it's best to wait until tomorrow to be discharged. My stomach still hurts now and then, and I'm not very good at holding the baby yet. I'm afraid that if we go home and I run into something I don't understand, there won't be a doctor there to teach me."
Adrian Quincy's long fingers caressed her cheek as he said softly, "So you can rest with peace of mind, I had Felix Collier take a three-month course on early childhood care. He'll be at home to look after you."
"You mean Dr. Collier?" Claire raised an eyebrow. 'But Dr. Collier's a male doctor.'
Adrian Quincy nodded. "I'll feel more at ease with him looking after you and the baby."
"You're not jealous?" Claire challenged.
Adrian Quincy stated with righteous confidence, "I've already warned him. If he dares to have any improper thoughts about you, I'll chop his hands off."
Claire: "..."
'What a terrifying man!'
'He has a point, though.'
