After lunch, Claire Sinclair returned to Astoria Tower. She stopped by the restroom before heading back to her office.
After closing the stall door, she sat down on the toilet and, out of habit, took out her phone.
Just then, a few women came in, gossiping amongst themselves.
"I just heard from a friend at the Astoria Daily. Apparently, Claire Sinclair tried to go back there, but they didn't want her. That's why she ended up at our TV station."
"See? I was wondering how a woman like her got into our station without an interview. She must have paid a fortune."
"She's rich, and she's the President's ex-girlfriend. Even though they broke up, she still has the connections. Someone like her never has to worry about finding work."
"Hmph... I'd like to see how long someone like her can last here. Our Sister Sophia is way stricter than the people at the Astoria Daily. If she doesn't meet her performance targets, Claire Sinclair will get the boot."
