Claire Sinclair walked over with the contract and sat down across from them. "Sorry to have kept you waiting," she said politely. "Here is the contract."
With that, she placed the two copies of the contract on the table.
The manager picked up a copy first to read it, but Leonard Bishop didn't seem interested in the contract. "Professor Sinclair," he said, "long time no see."
Claire Sinclair smiled. "It has, hasn't it? I wasn't feeling well for most of the past year, so I've just been resting at home."
"Are you feeling better now?"
"I'm all better now. And you? How have you been?"
Leonard Bishop thought back on the past year and chuckled. "In a word: busy."
"I saw you released a new album and held some concerts. You're on a great roll. All your hard work has finally paid off."
"It's nothing less than we expected. Now, Professor Sinclair, tell me about your show."
