Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Dissolving the Relationship

Like Bai Ling, he wasn't afraid Chu Jing would get hurt. He just believed males shouldn't hide behind females for safety.

Chu Jing could see what they were thinking from their expressions.

But she had no interest in debating gender roles.

She walked right up to Lin Ming, tilted her head slightly, and gave a contemptuous smile.

"Let's begin."

The moment the words left Chu Jing's mouth, she drew a Wooden Vine Whip from her waist.

The whip carved a series of arcs through the air before lashing out cleanly at them.

After a few crisp CRACKS, all five of them dropped to the ground, crying out in pain.

Lin Ming's eyes widened in utter disbelief.

"How do you have this kind of power?!"

He simply couldn't believe his eyes.

"There's a lot you don't know."

Chu Jing brandished the whip in her hand, the corners of her mouth curling into a mocking smile.

"Didn't the person who sent you tell you that I've received the Beast God's blessing?"

Her words made everyone's eyes go wide.

Not because they were afraid of Chu Jing.

But because a female with such an ability was as powerful as a Wizard.

No one could afford to provoke her!

The expressions of the three men behind her all shifted.

A peculiar light flashed in Bai Ling's eyes.

He was thrilled that his Female Master possessed such a special ability.

This meant that in the days to come, he would be able to grow stronger faster, perhaps even surpassing his rivals.

A trace of admiration showed in Jiang Ji's eyes.

He praised her silently in his heart, 'This Female Master is so fierce and domineering. She's truly impressive.'

Rong Kai's eyes narrowed slightly.

He looked somewhat lazy, but his eyes radiated a dangerous aura.

'Before dealing with her, it would be better to find a way to take her power first. Then I can slowly watch her leave this world in agony.'

Rong Kai secretly mulled over his plan.

Up ahead, Chu Jing suddenly felt a chill run down her spine, as if something was staring at her from behind.

She spun around and her eyes met Rong Kai's venomous-looking red eyes, making her heart clench.

"Rong Kai! Get rid of those wicked thoughts!"

She shouted without hesitation.

In that moment of distraction, Lin Ming and his men had already seized the opportunity to flee.

Chu Jing knew that offending an ordinary female beast was perhaps no big deal; at worst, certain people in the tribe would hold a grudge against her.

But if she truly offended a female beast with special abilities...

...she would be hunted down across the entire continent!

Seeing that they had fled and she had already made her threat, there was no point in dwelling on it. Chu Jing decided to simply drop the matter.

She retracted her Wooden Vine Whip and walked over to Jiang Ji. Seeing him covered in food scraps, she almost burst out laughing.

"Hurry up and put all this away. Also... I need one... hmm, no, two large pots."

"Pots?"

Jiang Ji scratched his head in confusion, then tilted his head and asked.

"What are those?"

Chu Jing was extremely patient.

She crouched down and carefully explained to him what a pot was.

Seeing the design on the ground, Bai Ling stepped forward and offered, "I can try to make that."

"Chu... Female Master, let me do it. Let Little Ze rest for a while."

Bai Ling suggested cautiously.

Hearing this, Chu Jing replied almost without thinking, "You feel sorry for him because you think he's tired, but did you ever stop to consider how tired I am?"

The moment she finished speaking, Bai Ling froze. 'Did I anger the Female Master again? Am I going to get another beating?'

He also worried that this time, Jiang Ji might be punished along with him.

Jiang Ji was also badly frightened when he heard her words.

After all, he had once been beaten half to death for speaking without thinking.

To prevent the same thing from happening again, Jiang Ji quickly came to Bai Ling's defense.

"Female Master, Bai Ling was just speaking casually. He didn't mean any harm. Besides, he doesn't even know how many amazing things you've done today."

Just as he was about to describe everything they had been through that day, Chu Jing cut him off.

"Alright, alright. I'm not going to eat you. Just do as I've told you."

With that, she turned and walked into the cave to check on Xuyue and Gu Si.

Chu Jing first went to Gu Si, who was lying on the ground. She gently took his hand and placed her other palm against it.

Instantly, a faint green light emanated from her palm.

Nearby, Xuyue kept his eyes closed, resting.

Soon, Chu Jing saw that Gu Si's wounds were nearly healed. She moved to his side and carefully examined his injuries, confirming that he was recovering quite well.

She then got up and went to Xuyue.

Just as she reached out to touch his forehead, Xuyue roughly grabbed her hand and slapped it away.

In that instant, a flash of anger crossed Xuyue's eyes.

Gu Si, who was nearby, immediately grew tense and shouted, "Xuyue!"

His voice was filled with worry, afraid another dispute would break out between the two.

Then, he gave Chu Jing an apologetic smile and said, "Female Master, Xuyue is probably just delirious from his severe injuries."

After speaking, he shot Xuyue a pointed look.

He hoped Xuyue would calm down and not do anything rash at a time like this.

Chu Jing sat to one side, observing Xuyue.

He had a classic tough-guy face with sharp, chiseled features.

What was particularly striking was a scar running through his right eyebrow.

The scar didn't mar his appearance; instead, it added a touch of wildness to him.

Chu Jing smiled faintly.

"Your injuries are recovering well, but I'm warning you, if you dare to anger me again, I'll make your wounds flare up."

She would not tolerate such unreasonable behavior now.

Especially when she had already shown him more than enough respect.

"Whether you believe me or not, I promise you, I will dissolve our bond when I return."

Chu Jing continued.

This was her decision, not a passing whim.

"When that time comes, you can go wherever you want. No one will stop you."

The moment she finished speaking, the expression of the usually taciturn Xuyue softened slightly. He slowly opened his eyes, stared at Chu Jing, and asked, "Are you telling the truth?"

As he asked this, his eyes showed a hint of disbelief, but also a sliver of hope.

"It's true."

Chu Jing answered without hesitation. She had no intention of deceiving them.
