Qi Ya remained on the ground, staring blankly at her receding figure.

After Chu Jing had gotten some distance away, Jiang Ji, who had remained in place, suddenly turned to look at Qi Ya.

"Are you actually preparing or not? Or was this whole thing just an excuse to trick Chu Jing into staying?"

He gave a relaxed smile and said nonchalantly, "Well, it's not like she believed me."

He then strode over to Jiang Ji's side.

He casually clapped the other man on the shoulder.

"We'll be family sooner or later, so you'd better give me some advice. And don't forget to tell me what she likes."
