"Still not leaving? Do you actually want to stay and keep me company?"
She leaned against the door, a mocking smile on her lips.
Before Rong Kai could respond, Chu Jing cut in, "Sorry, I already have company."
The words had barely left her mouth when the sound of soft footsteps came from inside the room.
Then, Qiu Ye emerged, half his body visible, a loose robe draped over his shoulders.
He jutted his chin at Rong Kai.
"Well now, this bed is a bit tight. It's just right for two, but there's no room for a third."
The air seemed to freeze for a moment.
Rong Kai: "..."
He stood frozen in place, his expression shifting from pale to livid.
Finally, he let out a nearly inaudible, cold snort.
Chu Jing: "..."
'She hadn't expected Qiu Ye to show up right then, either.'
'And to say something like that, no less. For a moment, she was actually a little embarrassed.'
After a moment of silence, Rong Kai silently turned and walked away.
