She stared blankly for two seconds before speaking.

Her tone was serious, carrying a hint of explanation.
"I don't just make things up out of thin air. I read the memories and emotions in your subconscious and give them form. So, everything you saw was, in fact, a part of you."
"So… what exactly did you see?"
A new urgency entered Lin Hui's voice.
'Does his silence mean he saw some unspeakable truth?'
'Or did the dream touch upon his deepest taboo?'
But no matter how Lin Hui pressed him after that, Gu Si remained silent.
His lips were pressed tight, his gaze empty, as if his soul had already left his body.
