New York, often called New York City (NYC), is the most populous city in the United States. Located at the southern tip of the New York State on New York Harbor, it is one of the world's largest natural harbors.
Pitter-Patter! Crackle! THOOM!
Currently, the entire city was covered in dense clouds. Heavy rainfall drenched the city followed by occasional thunders.
From a small café in Queens, a young man walked out. Glancing at the heavy rain and occasional thunders in annoyance, he opened his umbrella and started walking along the footpath, careful of his steps.
A few meters ahead, he encountered a small pool of water covering the entire width of the footpath, and to cross it, he had to step precisely on the few blocks that rose above the pool.
'Okay, let's do it.'
The young man grabbed his umbrella tightly and took the first jump and managed to land perfectly on the first block. With the second jump, he managed to make it to the last block and with another jump, he would have made it to other side.
Crackle! BOOOMMM!
"Shit!?" Taken by the suddenness of the thunder, the young man stumbled, almost falling into the pool, but managed to hold himself at the last moment.

HOOOONNNKKK!
The young man instinctively turned towards the source, only to be met by blinding light, followed by complete darkness.
Before the darkness fully consumed him, the young man only had one thought.
