Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 Growth and Exploration

At night, Kytheron, troubled by hunger and unable to sleep, actually tried picking up a stone and putting it in his mouth.

"Crunch!"

The stone was crunched under his hard teeth, but he couldn't swallow it at all.

"Ptooey! Ptooey! Ptooey!"

Kytheron spat out the stone fragments from his mouth in disgust.

In the end, he could only gulp down a belly full of Water from the small pond in the cave, which barely alleviated his hunger.

The next day.

Kytheron woke up early and climbed up the rock face outside the cave to the top.

He wanted to greet the first ray of morning Sun.

As a glimmer of light appeared on the horizon, Kytheron's long-awaited Sun finally rose.

Kytheron struggled to spread his wings, trying to receive the maximum amount of solar radiation.

"This is the feeling!"

When that first ray of Sun shone on him, Kytheron couldn't help but close his eyes comfortably and let out a sigh of contentment.

Then, he carefully felt the cells in his body begin to become active.

The hunger he had felt earlier began to recede rapidly.

...

Time also passed as Kytheron repeated the process of sunbathing day after day.

During the first month, Kytheron dared not leave his cave at all.

He honestly basked in the Sun, feeling his body improve in all aspects.

Gradually, after feeling he had some self-preservation ability, Kytheron began to explore the surroundings.

Then, he finally encountered the first living creature since his birth.

It was an animal like a goat, but its size was more than twice as large as a goat.

The most bizarre thing was that the creature actually had a third eye on its forehead.

Out of caution, Kytheron did not rashly rush out.

Instead, he found a huge stone about two meters high nearby and threw it at it.

He had thought that the creatures of this fantasy World would not be so easy to deal with.

However, it seemed that Kytheron had overestimated it.

Facing the giant rock flying quickly towards it, the goat-like creature, although it reacted to dodge, its body was still a step too slow.

Finally, half of its body was directly hit by the boulder, and blood spurted out.

It let out a few mournful cries, then fell to the ground and lost its life.

"No way! It's already dead!"

Seeing this situation, Kytheron walked up to it and looked at the creature, which was indeed dead, somewhat speechless.

He had originally thought this would be a magical creature.

However, it seemed no different from ordinary creatures.

And looking at the fresh blood and flesh on the ground, biological instinct began to drive Kytheron to want to eat it!

However, his instinct as a former human prevented him from eating raw meat and drinking blood like that.

So, Kytheron took the remaining intact portion back to his lair.

He found some dry branches and initially wanted to light them with his heat vision.

However, he stared for a long time, but nothing came out!

In the end, he accidentally coughed up some sparks that ignited the dry branches.

After birth, Kytheron ate hot food for the first time, although there were no seasonings.

Even the meat was half-cooked, but Kytheron ate it with endless relish.

Thereafter, Kytheron explored further and encountered more and more strange species.

He even encountered a Sabretooth, which he had seen in documentaries on Earth!

There were also giant wolves with two heads, winged pegasi...

These creatures had various abilities, which barely satisfied Kytheron.

"This is what the species of a fantasy World should look like!"

Kytheron said as he chewed heartily on a roasted horse leg.

Time passed by unconsciously like this!

Three years had passed since Kytheron's birth.

During these three years, the changes in Kytheron's body were Earth-shattering.

First, in terms of body size, when he was just born, Kytheron's size was no bigger than a pony.

But in just three short years, his body grew wildly, as if he had taken hormones.

Now Kytheron's body length exceeded fifteen meters, and his standing height exceeded six meters.

He was truly a giant.

However, body growth was secondary.

Most importantly, his bloodline as a Super Kryptonian Dragon had fully awakened.

Various abilities belonging to a Kryptonian also began to gradually awaken.

The first to awaken was the Steel Body.

Compared to ordinary Kryptonians, Kytheron had an extra layer of scales on the outermost part of his body.

This was equivalent to giving Kytheron a double Steel Body, and his defense power increased by another level.

Next was the growth of strength; Kytheron could now easily lift and throw giant rocks weighing hundreds or thousands of tons.

Super Hearing, this quietly awakened one scorching midday Sun.

The moment it awakened, countless subtle sounds came from all directions.

Having the experience of Superman's ability awakening in movies, Kytheron did not panic, but spent two days adapting Super Hearing to a controllable level.

Then came Super Speed, Heat Vision, X-ray Vision, Bio-Electric Aura...

However, when Kytheron tried to use Frost Breath, what spewed from his mouth was a scorching column of Fire.

It melted the rocks in front of him into lava.

After trying again, what came out was still a fierce Dragon's Breath.

"This seems to be my inherent ability as a Dragon."

Kytheron carefully savored the feeling when he had just breathed Fire.

It seemed that when he exhaled, there was a strange tremor in his Dragon's lungs.

And what came out was Dragon's Breath.

Next, Kytheron began to consciously control himself.

After many attempts, Kytheron exhaled another breath.

This time, the rocks in front were instantly covered in ice.

Then, Kytheron began to alternate between a Flame Breath and a Frost Breath, having a great time.

The most important ability, Flight, also awakened last!

Although he had a pair of wings on his back, Kytheron was very unaccustomed to flying with them.

So, until now, Kytheron's travel was still by running.

But one day, as he was sunbathing and falling asleep as usual, his body strangely lifted into the air.

And it gradually rose, stopping only after it was a thousand meters above the ground.

When Kytheron woke up, what he saw was the boundless sky.

However, he showed no panic, but was instead filled with excitement.

But when he prepared to control his body to fly.

His body suddenly fell uncontrollably downwards.

"Holy crap, brakes! Brakes! How do I brake?!"

"Boom!"

Finally, there was a deafening roar.

That small mountain peak on the ground was literally broken off.

The stirred-up dust spread around like ocean waves, startling creatures for dozens of miles around into fleeing in a panic.

After a long silence, a black Shadow suddenly soared up from the pile of rubble.

Then it stood steadily in the air.

"Flight, I have mastered it!"

At this moment, Kytheron finally broke free from the shackles of the Earth and gained the ability to soar freely in the blue sky.
