The lady shook her head. "Nopes. This house and premises are big enough, as you can see. My baby girl is almost five, and takes her lessons online for now. When she clocks six, she will go to a proper school." she explained sweetly. "By the way, what is your name? I am Charlotte." She paused. "Are you crying? Come on, don't you know this is a perfect definition of soft life? Watching television, babysitting, and making love all day? I never liked to work anyway. I only did it to survive."
Not minding the presence of the kid still staring at her, April wept the more. The door opened and Adrian stepped in.
"Daddy!" the little girl squealed from her bed, jumping down and hopping to him for a hug. He took her in his arms, lifted her up and kissed her forehead.
"Hey, sweetie pie. How are you doing?"
