Everyone stood still, and froze at the spot. Flynn, who was still looking bloodied, took out his shotgun and tiptoed to the window. Jay merely stood still, watching.
"Don't tell me we were followed." Kevin murmured in fear.
"Don't worry, it's just my mum." The older of Jay's daughters said. Before anyone could counter her, the door opened and their mum stepped in, bearing a rifle in hand. She was a tall slim redhead, just like her girls. The semblance was so obvious. She and Jay exchanged a brief kiss, before giving her attention to them.
"You scared the hell out of some beings here. Were you able to shoot down any bird?"
She chuckled in reply, shaking her head as the girls clung to her.. "Oh...I see your guests have arrived. How about..." she stopped short at the sight of Flynn. "My goodness! What happened to you?" she covered her mouth in shock. "Hold on, let me call the nanny to get you cleaned up before you head out again."
