CHAPTER 2 The First Magical Mishap
During my first week, I quickly realized three things:

I was lying on a blanket in the courtyard garden when an elderly court mage stood over me, holding a crystal orb.
"Young master, we will now examine your magical affinity."
I gurgled.Or at least, that's what they heard.
As the crystal drew closer, a strange sensation ran through me.The air thickened, and the garden fell silent.
