Chapter 1: Sea-Sickness and The Flaming Fail

The salty sea breeze hit Volt's face with a cold sting, but he didn't look majestic. Instead, the great Demon King, the one feared by heavens and earth alike, was leaning over the railing of the ship, looking like he was about to lose his lunch.

"Sai... tell me we're there," Volt groaned, his face turning an un-royal shade of green. His legendary aura was currently being defeated by a few choppy waves.

Sai smirked, crossing his arms as he watched his leader struggle. "My King, you've planned to overthrow the celestial 'Fake Gods' and rewrite history, yet you're losing a fight against a single salty wave? How the mighty have fallen."

Aki ran over from the other side of the deck, excitedly waving a giant, bulging-eyed fish. "Volt! Look! I caught dinner! Doesn't this fish look exactly like that 'False King' you kicked back in Season 1? It has the same stupid expression!"

Annoyed and wanting to regain some dignity, Volt tried to summon his new destructive flame power. A brilliant, swirling orb of fire flickered into existence in his palm, glowing with a dangerous red light. But just as he was about to make a cool remark, the ship lurched violently to the left.

The fireball slipped from his hand and flew straight into Sai's hair.

"FIRE! MY HAIR IS ON FIRE!" Sai screamed, running in circles around the mast while Aki tried to extinguish the flames by repeatedly slapping Sai's head with the slimy fish.

Volt sighed, closing his eyes in shame. "If the Fake Gods see this mess, they'll die of laughter before I even reach the shore."

However, as the mist cleared and the lush, green shores of the Elf Kingdom finally appeared on the horizon, the comedy died down. Volt's eyes glowed with a sharp, lethal intensity. The time for games was over. The true reckoning was about to begin
