Screen 1 — A Strange Home
Sonic finds himself in a surprisingly normal, quiet house.
Pink curtains, sunlight through the window, expensive furniture. This is Madoka's home. Rich, calm, safe. Far from the chaos he's used to.
Sonic leans against the doorway, arms crossed.
"Hi… furry. Uh… why are you here?"
On Madoka's shoulder, Kyubey tilts its head, smiling.
"Hello, Sonic. I am Kyubey."
Sonic squints. "Yeah… you're giving me creepy vibes already."
Kyubey ignores the tone and begins explaining:
The Contract: A girl is approached by Kyubey, who offers a contract: she can make any wish in exchange for becoming a magical girl.
The Cost: She receives a Soul Gem, which holds her soul. Her body stays normal, but her Soul Gem is linked to her life force.
The Purpose: Magical girls fight Witches, manifestations of despair. Kyubey uses the energy generated to prevent universal entropy.
Sonic blinks. He scratches the back of his head.
"Okay… looks… kinda good? But… something about this feels off."
Madoka, still holding Kyubey, looks at Sonic nervously.
"It's… supposed to be safe," she says softly.
Sonic narrows his eyes, instinctive.
"Safe… right. Sure. I'll believe it… for now."
A faint red glow from Kyubey's eyes catches Sonic's attention.
Something tells him this isn't a game he can just run through.
Screen 2 — Meeting Sayaka
Sonic steps into the next room of Madoka's house.
A girl with short blue hair is sitting at a desk, sketching something in a notebook. She looks up as he enters.
"Uh… hi," Sonic says, hands on his hips. "You… live here too?"
The girl blinks, surprised. "Yeah… I'm Sayaka. And you are…?"
"Sonic. From… somewhere else," he says, shrugging. "Long story."
Sayaka tilts her head, curious but friendly. "You're… an alien?"
Sonic smirks. "Something like that. Definitely not from around here."
Sayaka laughs lightly. "You're weird. But… cool, I guess."
He notices she has no Soul Gem, no strange markings, nothing supernatural. Just a normal girl.
Sonic leans against the wall, scanning the room. "Okay… looks like this place is calm. No crazy monsters yet. Good sign."
Sayaka frowns a little, noticing his wariness. "You don't… trust us, do you?"
Sonic shakes his head. "Not exactly. But… I know trouble when I see it. And right now? I don't see it—yet."
Kyubey floats closer silently, observing Sonic with those red eyes. Sonic notices the stare and tenses.
"Yeah… something tells me this world isn't gonna be that simple," he mutters.
Screen 3 — Mami Arrives
Sonic, Madoka, and Sayaka step outside, drawn by a strange noise in the city.
A glowing barrier pulses ahead. Shadows twist inside. Sonic stops, instinctively scanning the area.
A figure appears from the smoke. Blonde hair, twintails, a confident stance. She's holding twin rifles with ease.
"Who are you?" Sonic asks, narrowing his eyes.
"I'm Mami Tomoe. You shouldn't be here," she says, eyes on Sonic but careful not to startle the girls.
Madoka steps forward nervously. "We… we just wanted to see what was happening. We didn't know…"
Sayaka frowns, gripping her bag. "This… this isn't safe. Are we in trouble?"
Sonic smirks slightly. "Yeah… you could say that. Looks like this city has some serious issues."
The barrier ahead ripples. A massive Witch emerges, its form twisted and surreal, full of despair energy.
Mami raises her rifles. "Stay back. I can handle this… but you two need to get somewhere safe." She gestures to Madoka and Sayaka.
Sonic leans forward, excited but cautious. "Oh, I love fights like this. But—what the heck is that thing?"
Mami doesn't answer. She fires precise, controlled shots. The Witch screeches, dodging, reforming. Sonic notices her speed, her precision. This isn't a normal fight.
Madoka and Sayaka exchange terrified glances. Neither understands what's happening yet.
Sonic grins. "Okay… this just got interesting."
The Witch charges. Sonic darts forward instinctively, ready to act—but Mami raises a hand.
"No," she warns. "Not yet. Watch and learn."
Sonic stops, realizing this world has rules he doesn't understand.
Kyubey floats silently nearby, red eyes gleaming, observing Sonic's reactions.
The fight begins.
Screen 4 — Meeting Homura
The Witch fight continues behind them, but Sonic's curiosity pulls him forward.
Mami keeps Madoka and Sayaka safely behind her. "Stay back!" she warns, firing precise shots to slow the Witch down.
Sonic blurs forward, moving at impossible speed. He circles the Witch, observing it.
"This thing… doesn't behave like anything I've seen," he mutters.
"It's not just fast. It's… weird. Like reality itself is wrong."
His instincts scream: something is controlling the rules here. Something bigger.
Following a faint trail of distorted energy, Sonic darts through the city.
He stops suddenly in an alley, where a girl stands calmly, arms crossed.
Black hair. Serious eyes. Calm, calculating presence.
"Who are you?" Sonic asks, slowing to a halt.
The girl tilts her head. "Homura Akemi," she says quietly.
"You shouldn't be here. This isn't your world."
Sonic smirks, brushing dust off himself. "Yeah… I kinda figured that out already. But hey… I deal with weird all the time. You?"
Homura's gaze sharpens. "You don't understand. This world has rules you can't outrun. Speed won't save you here."
Sonic frowns. "…Yeah, that's unsettling."
He glances back. The Witch fight still rages in the distance. Mami is keeping the girls safe, but Sonic notices the intensity of the energy, the unnatural twists of the barrier.
"So…" Sonic says, tilting his head.
"This is your team? You girls fight monsters like this… all the time?"
Homura doesn't answer directly. She just watches him, studying.
"You're not like them," she finally says.
"You're fast. But this world… it's not about speed."
Sonic grins, unshaken. "Noted. Then I guess I'll just have to figure out what actually works."
Kyubey floats silently nearby, watching both of them with interest.
Screen 5 — The Witch Charlotte
The city street shakes as the Witch fight escalates.
Mami fires her rifles with perfect precision, controlling the battlefield. Her confidence is clear.
Sonic moves around her, keeping Madoka and Sayaka behind cover.
"Okay, I've got your backs," he says, blur of motion letting him scout and protect.
A smaller Witch—Pyotr—appears first. Sonic reacts instinctively.
He spins, dashes, and slices clean through the Witch's form with a high-speed strike. Pieces vanish before they hit the ground.
"Not too shabby," he mutters. "This world's rules are… weird, but I can handle this."
Then, out of nowhere, a new presence crashes into the battlefield.
Charlotte. A massive, grotesque Witch, unlike anything Sonic or Mami has faced.
Mami falters for just a moment, underestimating her.
The Witch lunges.
Sonic accelerates, attempting to intercept, but the attacks move unpredictably.
The Witch strikes with overwhelming force. Sonic's vision flashes as he tries to react.
Mami screams. A strike lands. She's gone in an instant.
Sonic skids to a halt. His hands tremble slightly as he looks at her body.
Madoka and Sayaka cry out. Sonic steps between them and the Witch, voice low and steady:
"Okay… respect where it's due."
He clenches his fists. "I'm not letting this thing keep going."
Charlotte turns toward him, massive, looming, impossible to predict.
Sonic blurs forward, spinning, dashing, striking repeatedly.
The Witch shrieks, distorts, and reacts faster than Sonic expects.
The fight is chaotic, violent, and unforgiving. Sonic's speed allows him to damage Charlotte, but this world punishes overconfidence.
Madoka and Sayaka watch in horror, realizing the danger is very real.
Sonic's eyes narrow.
"Not gonna lie… this world's rules are brutal. But I don't back down."
The battle with Charlotte rages on.
Screen 6 — Inside Charlotte's Barrier
The world twists around Sonic. The street disappears, replaced by Charlotte's candy-like maze. Gravity bends. Objects appear out of nowhere—giant lollipops, walls of sweets, even oversized chocolate hammers. Normal rules of physics don't apply.
Sonic darts forward, spinning and dashing through the chaos. He slices through half of Charlotte's massive body with a blur of motion.
To his surprise, Charlotte begins crying—like a baby—her monstrous form distorted, fragile behind the bizarre illusion of the barrier.
Madoka and Sayaka watch, frozen, unable to process the surreal scene.
From above, Homura appears. Calm. Calculating.
Homura's strategy: She uses her time-stop ability, freezing everything except herself. Inside the frozen chaos, she moves freely.
She doesn't rely on brute force or magic blasts. Every shot from her gun is precise, deliberate.
Homura identifies Charlotte's true form hidden behind the whimsical barrier. She aims carefully. Time resumes for a split second only around her attack.
Bang.
The shot hits. Charlotte shrieks. Her Soul Gem—manifested inside the barrier—shatters. The barrier collapses instantly.
The candy maze evaporates, leaving silence.
Sonic slows to a halt, catching his breath. His grin is wry.
"Okay… first witch fight. First kill. Not bad."
He glances at Homura. Respect is there, but his expression is thoughtful.
"Strategy over strength. That's… new."
Madoka and Sayaka look shaken. They realize this is more than just fighting monsters—this is a system designed to trap people, and the magical girls aren't just heroes; they're part of a tragic cycle.
Sonic's first lesson in this world: speed helps, but understanding the rules is what really wins fights.
Homura's cold, efficient victory stands in stark contrast to Sonic's raw approach, foreshadowing the challenges ahead
Screen 7 — Aftermath
The battlefield is quiet. Charlotte's barrier has vanished. The twisted candy landscape is gone.
Sonic stands slightly apart, breathing heavily, scanning the area. His hands rest on his hips.
"No one got hurt… right?" he mutters, glancing at Madoka and Sayaka.
Homura's expression is cold, unreadable. She looks at Mami's fallen body.
"She didn't have any family to tell," she says quietly, almost to herself.
Sonic's eyes narrow. He steps closer, assessing the scene.
He notices the shock in Madoka and Sayaka, the weight of the loss, but also the strange calm in Homura.
Sonic shrugs slightly. "Well… guess nobody's going to worry about her, huh?"
Madoka and Sayaka stare, unable to respond.
Kyubey floats silently nearby, red eyes gleaming, observing everything.
Sonic exhales. He clenches his fists.
"Okay… this world's rules are brutal. But I'm not done yet."
The camera pans up. The city is quiet, but the tension lingers.
The Witch cycle isn't over, and Sonic realizes the fight—and the learning—has only just begun.
To be continued…
