Chapter 25 - Chapter 25: Uchiha Itachi and Wise King Gilgamesh Appear

The battle is about to begin.

Everyone is looking forward to this battle.

Because of this 'Innate Territory', the gap in strength between Emiya Shirou and Gilgamesh seems to have narrowed significantly in an instant.

From being completely unable to fight at the beginning to Emiya Shirou now having a fighting chance.

Everyone witnessed this progress. They were also quite surprised that after activating Emiya Shirou's 'Innate Territory', his strength had a qualitative leap.

In the video, the battle began.

Having just suffered a loss at Emiya Shirou's hands, Gilgamesh had just opened the Gate of Babylon, and several sword-shaped Noble Phantasms flew out of the golden ripples at extreme speed, charging toward Emiya Shirou.

"Clang—!! Clang, clang, clang—!!"

Inside Innate Territory, Emiya Shirou snatched up the twin swords at his feet, shattered the first two Noble Phantasms that came flying at him, and sprang back.

He dodged the machine-gun-like rain of weapons.

Though Shirou had escaped for the moment, Gilgamesh's assault was far from over; more blades still streaked down from the sky.

"!!!"

Shirou studied the projectiles above him and began to analyze them.

The blades stabbed into the ground answered his call; in a dizzying whirl, countless swords met Gilgamesh's Noble Phantasms in mutual annihilation.

"..."

Shirou lifted his head slowly, gazing at Gilgamesh with perfect composure.

"Why… do the mongrel's blades…?" Even Gilgamesh looked startled.

"Don't understand?" Shirou caught the King's bewilderment. Rising to his feet, he added with a barbed smile, "You, who own countless Noble Phantasms, stand at the summit of heroes."

"But you are a king, not a warrior."

As he spoke, several figures appeared in the background.

A blue-clad man with a crimson spear, features twisted in ferocity.

Another in a kimono, long sword in hand.

A shirtless titan built like a fortress.

And, finally, Saber, who had appeared earlier.

"You never chose to master a single weapon." Shirou leveled a blade at Gilgamesh. "You, like me, stopped halfway."

The words struck a nerve; Gilgamesh's face contorted. "Counterfeit mongrel! I shall grind every scrap of you to dust!"

In the next instant, the sky bloomed with countless golden ripples—Gilgamesh was finally ready to get serious.

Shirou faced the array of portals behind the King of Heroes without flinching, eyes steady.

One-Punch Man World.

"He can still open that many gates?!" Genos gasped, stunned by the sight.

Until now Genos had assumed Gilgamesh was toying with his opponent; even without drawing that weapon called Ea, the hero must have been fighting somewhat seriously.

Yet this full-force display told him the King was only now preparing to get truly serious.

Just a few of those golden ripples had felt strong enough to kill a Demon-level Monster.

With so many gates open, even without that terrifying weapon, the sheer volume of blades could obliterate a dragon-level monster.

"Awesome!" Saitama's eyes shone with envy as he watched the portals. "If you used that for deliveries or moving house, it'd be super convenient!"

Genos blinked, considered, and nodded solemnly. "Indeed, Master. For transportation it would be extremely practical."

"Right?!" Saitama stared wistfully at the screen. "He could get seriously rich doing that."

Saitama was clearly jealous of how easily Gilgamesh's power could make money.

He himself was flat broke, forced to rely on kindhearted "monsters" for groceries—utterly miserable.

Genos nodded; whatever his teacher said, he agreed.

Naruto World.

Within the Akatsuki Organization, on a mission with Itachi, Kisame watched the multiverse projection and chuckled. "Itachi, how many chances do you give yourself against that Gilgamesh?"

"..."

Not far off, leaning against a tree, Itachi's Three-Tomoe Sharingan slowly spun as he watched the same feed.

He wasn't looking at Gilgamesh; his gaze rested on Emiya Shirou.

A devoted brother at heart, Itachi had instantly noticed how much Shirou sounded like Sasuke.

Sasuke's voice was younger, Shirou's deeper, but the resemblance was unmistakable.

A coincidence like this… in such a vast world?

"Itachi?" Kisame prompted, puzzled. "Don't tell me you also think that guy's invincible?"

Kisame considered himself strong, yet he doubted he could handle Gilgamesh.

The King's ability to store an endless supply of weapons was downright unfair; and that weapon called Ea, glimpsed earlier, felt leagues above his own Samehada even through a screen.

"No one is invincible. His pride will be his downfall."

Itachi spoke calmly, eyes still on Shirou. "That boy knows exactly what he's doing; his purpose is clear."

"The fight will be decided in the next exchange."

So Itachi declared.

Seventh Singularity, Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia.

The Wise King Gilgamesh, having finished every last task, opened the multiverse projection for a moment's leisure.

"Interesting—special recommendation?" The Wise King smiled, intrigued by the highlighted program.

The projection linked countless worlds; with his clairvoyance he had long known that versions of it appeared in every age and timeline.

After all, a certain someone in Chaldea never stopped watching Merlin's exclusive channel.

With that thought, the Wise King clicked the recommended video and began to watch.
