In her usual place, the Madam—Sabrina, as Orion knew her—sat calmly upon her throne.
Before her knelt a man named Oscar, his head lowered respectfully.
"Did you find anything about that boy?" she asked indifferently.
"No, Madam," Oscar replied. "I checked everything. Even the other kingdoms where our operations extend… but nothing."
He clenched his fists. "It's as if he appeared out of thin air."
"That boy truly is something," Sabrina murmured thoughtfully. "To think he could hide his steps even from my network… impressive."
Oscar glanced up, noticing the rare contemplative expression on her face.
"Madam," he said carefully, "may I ask a question, if you don't mind?"
"Oh?" she replied lazily. "Go on."
"Don't you think you're getting distracted by that boy?" Oscar asked, his voice steady despite his unease. "For days, all we've done is talk about him. I admit he has strange powers and a mysterious background—but what about our real goal? We can't forget why we're all here."
