Chapter 6 : Welcome to Hero society (Deep dungeon arc)
The headquarters offered the heroes a dorm to stay in.
All the heroes made their way to the headquarters. Kiryu along with Akane and Daisuke
Kiryu rushed in without any thoughts. Daisuke sighs "Kiryu-san don't rush in!"
On the other hand even Akane rushed in! "Yeah! Finally something better and safe than that cave!" then there's the bad luck, Six heroes share a same room written on the board. Kiryu and Akane stood frozen after seeing the board. Daisuke sighs "I knew it something this good comes with a great price, Kiryu-san and akane-san" Kiryu looks at Daisuke in disbelief "But….you know we are heroes we deserve better" Akane Nods "We are protectors and we are treated like this huh?" Daisuke replies "Others didn't even get this though we are lucky to have at least one room. Akane and kiryu's gaze fall on the ground "Your right" Daisuke looks around "We might need two more heroes actually." Daisuke gaze lands on Aoi "Hey Aoi!" Aoi looks at Daisuke she blushes slightly "Oh Daisuke-san!" Daisuke approaches her "You know my name?" Aoi Nods "yeah your quite famous since the announcement " Daisuke Nods "Oh right" Akane crosses her arms "You know this girl?" Daisuke Nods "yeah" Daisuke looks at Aoi "I have a favor to ask" Aoi leans her head sideways "What favor?" Daisuke asks "We need three more heroes for, You know getting a room so can you be our roommate" Aoi gets so flustered "Sharing rooms!?" Daisuke notices her reaction "Well its okay if you don't want" Aoi tries to cool down, looks away slightly "Uhh it's not like I don't want… your too kind I might become a problem for you guys. " Daisuke gives a smile "Nope, we would love to have you" Kiryu approaches them "Yo! My name's kiryu hanajima! Nice to meet you!" Akane approaches too, she crosses her arms "My name is Akane Kobayashi!" Aoi gets overwhelmed by the sudden appearances "Oh m..my name is Aoi kono, nice to meet you two!" Kiryu taps his chin "two more to go!" Kiryu's gaze lands on the man from before "Oh hey there the guy from before!" The guy looks at him "Oh kiryu-san!" Akane fumes "Kiryu are you seriously gonna invite a child to our group?" The guy gives a nervous laugh "I am thirty years old" Daisuke, Akane and Aoi froze in silence. Kiryu asks "So what's your name any way?" He replies "It's Taki Kojima" Kiryu asks "okay raki korijina, would you be our roommate?" Taki replies "Taki Kojima and sure if you guys are okay with it" kiryu smiles "One more to go!"
Move aside! Said by a girl. They turn around and kiryu finds out she is the psychic girl "Oh hey there nice to meet you again!" Others are in shock. Akane gulps "That's Chiyo himejima, S class Rank 4.
Chiyo stands proudly" Oh so you know? I guess you can call me Chiyo-sama!" Kiryu smiles "Rank 4 in S class? That's awesome!" Chiyo looks at kiryu "So you somehow managed to pass the exam huh?" Kiryu Nods "Yeah I did!" Chiyo floats "Congrats or whatever don't expect me to help you when you get stuck in a cobweb again" Kiryu asks loudly "One more thing! Can we be roommates?" Chiyo suddenly falls from her levitation, Then looks at kiryu with a hint of pink on her cheeks "W-What!? Roommates?! D-don't be ridiculous!"
Kiryu scratches his head "It's okay if you don't want to." Chiyo Scoffs "Yeah don't even think about it" Kiryu sighs "Fine, looks like we gotta find another person" Chiyo pauses then finally speaks up but her voice was pretty low" um you know, you are kind of weak, you just luckily got selected as hero. So I guess I have to stick around" Kiryu replies "You don't have to force yourself I can take care of myself" Chiyo fumes "This not what I meant" Akane whispers to Daisuke "There's something more in this conversation then we are seeing" Chiyo shouts "I am sticking around, you want it or not!" Kiryu giggles softly "Okay Okay you win! Chiyo" Chiyo freezes then shakes her head and yells again " D-don't call me by my name!" Kiryu stiffens up "Oh right sorry, Chiyo-san!" Chiyo Scoffs "That's better" Akane giggles "This will be fun!"
Finally they enter their room no 49. Kiryu almost in tears "finally a bed! Love you kotaro!-San!" Taki smiles " Your right! Akane yells orders "Alright! Time to select our beds! And seems like kiryu had his eyes on the big one "That one-!!" Chiyo used telekinesis and stopped kiryu from going for the bed "Nope its mine now! Kiryu says "That's unfair!" Chiyo replies "It's not called unfair darling its called taking back favors, the other day you almost got eaten alive by the spider remember? Since I helped you I get to choose. Kiryu sighs "Fine..." Chiyo pauses "So aren't you gonna fight for it?" Kiryu replies "Why should I?" Chiyo Scoffs "You're an idiot after all!" Kiryu replies "Huh?" Akane finding their fights amusing and Daisuke trying to calm them, Taki and Aoi stood there awkwardly.
Back in the headquarters meeting room.
Shin former mayor now the Founder of hero society, Kotaro controller of the Hero society, Kyo the producer, Kimura the Leader for Building square, Hana the Leader for Infirmary square gathered In meeting room.
Shin said " we all know everything here is going way bizarre first the giants and Super powers and we don't know what may come" Kyo asks "may come? Is there anything else that may come?" Shin says "Probably"
Kotaro asks "Probably? What made you say Probably?" Shin replies "While we were investigating the meteor we found out two crazy things, first is the meteor was a sudden and surprise, because if it was a normal meteor crashing we would have confirmed it, even if its long distance away but this came out of nowhere and second It was made of suspicious substance unlike the normal meteor, this might have been the cause changes happening around us, This mutations, this powers weren't just evolution that occurred after the pandemic, something tells me it's planned. Kimura says "Planned? You seriously think this is planned who might do something so crazy like blowing up their own planet?" Shin replies "I am just saying, But for now we can't take move before we confirm everything. Meeting dismissed!"
The next day, Headquarters sends a mission to every single room in the headquarters. Room 49 where kiryu and others are, wakes up by the sudden alarm to wake up, The speaker in the corner of their room "Wake up heroes, there is a big mutant activity near the forest where the exam was held, We need 20 heroes for this mission. If you want to participate arrive at the main headquarters at sharp 10" Akane scratches her head "Mission now? Ah come on I wanted to sleep more" Kiryu on the other hand excited " Our first mission? Oh I am ready!" Taki giggles "Such energy in the morning" Daisuke wakes up "Oh you all are awake" Daisuke notices Aoi quiet in the corner. Daisuke asks "everything alright Aoi?" Aoi startles slightly "Yeah all good"
Kiryu already ready to charge "Let's go!" Akane grabs him "There's still time idiot and first brush your teeth, you unhygienic moron!"
They started preparing.Kiryu polishing his katana, Chiyo ties her hair, Akane wearing gloves, Daisuke wearing his jacket, Aoi packing the bag and Taki wears his shoes.
Kiryu and others set out and reached the headquarters for their first mission "Alright everyone let's go!"
