Gohan slowly turned his head and saw the two figures behind him: his father and his younger brother.
In that moment, waves of overwhelming emotion surged through his heart like a vast, stormy ocean. Son Goku was channeling his power without pause, pouring everything he had into resisting Beerus's world-ending energy pillar.
"Gohan! Focus! Keep sending power... don't lose concentration for even a second!" Goku gritted his teeth and warned him in a hoarse but commanding voice, his veins bulging on his forehead.
Gohan nodded, determination shining in his eyes.
In the next instant, he drew upon every last trace of power inside his body, sending it surging forward like a raging flood, pouring it all into the forming Kamehameha ahead of him.
At that moment, an overwhelming aura erupted from the three of them. The Son family's combined Kamehameha shone like a blazing sun, lighting up the entire dark void.
In Beerus's deep eyes, a faint but genuine glimmer of admiration flickered. He murmured softly:
"Mm. Not bad. You've truly surprised me. You are worthy of respect."
However, his tone immediately shifted to cold indifference.
"But don't forget... when gods speak, their words are absolute. I will still destroy Earth without hesitation."
Beerus's voice was icy and merciless, sending a chill down one's spine.
"Since things have come to this, let me add a little punishment."
With those words, Beerus raised his arm once again. The motion was casual, almost lazy. But as his hand lifted, the already majestic, roaring purple energy seemed to be injected with new life. It surged even more violently.

The sky turned a terrifying blood red. Heavy black clouds loomed overhead like mountains, completely blocking out the sunlight.
A savage wind screamed across the land, so violent that it nearly knocked people off their feet.
Rain poured down in sheets, each drop the size of a bean, exploding against the ground. Thunder and lightning raged, thick bolts tearing open the sky as deafening booms shook the world.
Meanwhile, the raging ocean rose as if enraged by the heavens themselves, with waves towering like mountains and crashing toward the shore.
Everything the seawater touched was devoured mercilessly—skyscrapers, mountains, valleys, nothing survived.
It was the greatest catastrophe Earth had ever faced.
Piccolo and the others, watching from afar, were already caught in the fallout.
Even Super Mini Cell was wobbling helplessly.
"Damn it... I can't even keep my eyes open..." Super Mini Cell shielded his eyes, trying to look forward but gave up almost immediately.
The very next second, however, his shaking body suddenly steadied. Beside him, Pan, Piccolo, and Majin Buu reacted the same way.
They opened their eyes and saw a silver-haired man standing before them.
The man gently tapped his staff.

They expected him to be on Beerus's side.
Piccolo asked nervously, "You... aren't you with Beerus? Why would you save us?"
Whis smiled gently and replied, "I am myself, and Lord Beerus is Lord Beerus. Don't confuse the two."
"I simply do what I want to do."
Whis crouched down and greeted Majin Buu politely, saying,
"Um... Pink gentleman, could you spare me one of those little jars?"
Majin Buu glanced at the single pudding in his hand, then at Whis. Being extremely protective of food, he naturally refused.
At that moment, Super Mini Cell noticed something.
This man, though allied with Beerus was willing to intervene, yet clearly had thoughts of his own.
With a leap, Super Mini Cell snatched the pudding from Majin Buu's hand.
"Hehe! Sir, this is called pudding. It tastes great! Try it!"
He offered the pudding to Whis. Whis's eyes sparkled as he smelled the creamy sweetness, and tears nearly streamed from the corners of his mouth.
"Thank you!" Whis said warmly.
Super Mini Cell's actions immediately angered Majin Buu.
"Mini Cell! What are you doing?!" Playing the peacemaker, Super Mini Cell replied, "Hey, Buu. I actually have plenty more pudding and loads of chocolate, too. We can deal with all that once this is over, okay?"
Hearing this, Majin Buu reluctantly agreed.
"Waaah! This is delicious! Truly divine!" Whis's eyes twinkled like stars—this was his first taste of Earth's desserts.
His look of pure bliss quickly drew Beerus's attention from the sky above.
Whis's voice was unmistakable, and Beerus immediately noticed the pudding in his hand.
"Whis, eating again? He's acting nothing like an angel."
As he said this, Beerus's mouth began to water slightly.
But then, something unexpected happened.
Without warning, a massive, dazzling golden ki beam shot toward Beerus from behind like a bolt of lightning.
Beerus's eyes sharpened instantly, and he dodged to the side with a swift, fluid motion.
At the same time, a familiar, battle-hungry voice rang out:
"Hmph! Kakarot! Don't forget I'm still here!"
Before anyone could react, Vegeta appeared before them, Bulla standing at his side.
Father and daughter hurled themselves into the fierce battle without hesitation, joining the Sons in their energy clash.
With Vegeta and Bulla's powerful addition, the already enormous energy sphere expanded even further, growing more violent and overwhelming.
Son Goku immediately sensed the danger. If this continued, Earth would never withstand a Huge attack of this scale.
He shouted at the top of his lungs:
"Everyone! Push harder! We have to work together and force this energy sphere into outer space!"
