Chapter 35 - Chapter 35 : He knows !!!

He had let escape and delayed the pursuit so that he could use a high-human kid as a mechanical key to open the founder's inheritance.

As Austin was spying on the manor, subtly perceiving the arrays lest he trigger them, scaring the snake. Although he already knew where the inheritance was and could obtain it, he felt that Alaric was not a simple man, at least not the typical mortal, and a genuine threat to his family, so he would leave no stone unturned. He suddenly saw almost twenty men with swords in their waists led by a dark-haired, tall man, with features resembling his father, walk out to the forest where he was, and was astonished as he muttered," Quite the perceptive one, eh, even smarter and thorough than my father, it seems this is a well-crafted scheme".

Alaric knew that the enemy had let the man go so that he could follow them and probed the man with his soul sense and detected an oppressive imprint that he could not erase, so he mobilized the strongest manor swordsmen under him to comb the compound nearby, overturn every nook and cranny, like seeking a needle in a haystack. What he did not know was that he had been placed on a must-eliminate list by Austin, as his threat had far surpassed the previous estimates.

Austin, still perched on the tall tree, used his soul sense to silence and envelop the bird and used his space laws to blend into the environment, eluding all soul senses. Two hours later, after Alaric and his minions had combed through the entire forest, they finally went back inside. Austin still did not unveil his presence, and true to his intuition, six hours later, Alaric and his minions finally walked into the manor, as they had just sent soul sense ethereal avatars to make the enemy reveal his presence !!!! which would have fooled any other, if it wasn't him who had a superior soul sense and could sense laws like breathing air.

Austin let out a cynical laugh," I have to kill this Alaric, he's too scheming and brilliant, even I could be fooled by his well-woven conspiracies. How did my parents elude him so well, even if he let them go? There has to be something
