Chapter 8 - Saeko's Flower Has Bloomed

"I didn't know you were so good at cooking, Tetsuya-kun," Saeko said as she ate, praising him while her gaze remained fixed on Tetsuya beside her, who chuckled softly.

Shizuka was far more straightforward. "Woo, woo! Tetsuya-kun is amazing! He's handsome, strong, reliable, and his cooking is delicious! I want Tetsuya-kun to be my boyfriend! Shizuka-sensei has been single for 27 years!"

"Cough! Cough!"

Rei and Saya choked on their food at her words, staring at Shizuka in disbelief, wondering if this big-breasted older woman really had no shame and was cutting in line like this.

Even Saeko looked at Shizuka as if she were a natural enemy.

Shizuka, completely unaware of the situation, continued eating calmly, showering Tetsuya with praise and repeatedly saying she wanted to marry him, earning deadly glares from the other three women that she didn't notice at all. Meanwhile, Tetsuya simply laughed at her words, neither accepting nor rejecting.

After eating, the five of them chatted for a while before Shizuka led them to a room and opened a cabinet, revealing a large collection of weapons.

"Is your friend's house an armory or something?" Saya asked in shock. Even as the daughter of a wealthy family, she found it hard to believe there were this many weapons stored in a closet.

Shizuka touched her lips and made a thoughtful expression. "Hmm, Rika joined the Special Assault Team, so she keeps a lot of weapons at home."

"…," Saya fell silent.

Tetsuya smiled and stepped forward, taking out several weapons. He then began teaching Saeko, Saya, Shizuka, and Rei how to use them, how to reload magazines and properly handle firearms.

Saeko learned for additional protection, while the other three learned as a precaution, since Tetsuya would only be here for five days, the duration of this group mission.

After teaching them the basics of weapon handling, Tetsuya told Shizuka and the others to rest, while he and Saeko talked about the points gained from killing zombies.

"How many zombies did you kill?" Tetsuya asked.

Saeko thought for a moment and replied, "About 370 zombies. What about you, Tetsuya-kun?"

"More than 500. I have around 600 points now. It's a shame I can't do a lottery draw yet," Tetsuya said, shaking his head.

That night was extremely dark, accompanied by the hoarse groans of zombies outside.

At the moment, Tetsuya was cleaning his sword, still stained with zombie blood, in the living room. The sound of footsteps approached, and Saeko appeared from a doorway, wearing only a plain white shirt and underwear.

She silently sat beside Tetsuya, watching him carefully clean every trace of blood from his sword, her expression complex.

"What's wrong, Saeko-senpai?" Tetsuya set down the cloth and the sword, turned to her, and asked calmly.

Saeko shook her head and said, "It's nothing… just…"

"Are you worried about your sadistic tendencies when killing?" Tetsuya asked.

Saeko wasn't too surprised, but it clearly affected her, making her body tense for a moment. She nodded and told him about how four years ago she had fought back against someone who tried to assault her. At first, it was self-defense, but soon after, she realized that she enjoyed inflicting pain and holding power over another person's life.

She always smiled when fighting and cutting down zombies, a hidden, sadistic, cruel side behind the image of a polite and refined young woman. She had grown up believing she was a "death seeker" and unworthy of love.

"Do you think… I deserve to be loved?" Saeko looked at Tetsuya.

Tetsuya met her gaze directly, her blue eyes shining in the dim room like a clear sky, and said, "Yes. If hurting and killing makes you who you are, then why not? And besides, if you use that power to protect what you love, then killing is not a sin."

Saeko smiled upon hearing that, all her doubts disappearing in an instant. She didn't want to be a murderer or a "death seeker." She still had morals and kindness in her heart, and the nature she had hidden made her feel like a sinner.

Yes, she had done it to protect herself, and now she could do it to protect others as well.

With Tetsuya's words, Saeko felt at peace. The burden on her heart lifted, and she smiled beautifully as she moved closer to Tetsuya, sitting directly on his lap.

"As you said, Tetsuya-kun, I deserve to be loved. Then… love me."

Tetsuya looked at her in silence, then lowered his head and kissed her.

Saeko's lips were soft, carrying the sweetness of a young woman and a master swordswoman. Tetsuya wrapped his arms around her slim, flexible waist, pulling her closer and pressing her chest against his.

"Mhn~"

Soon, spring bloomed on the living room sofa under the dim lighting. Saeko's beautiful moans drowned out the groans of the zombies outside, even causing the women sleeping in the bedrooms to stir uneasily.

Saeko's taste was intoxicating, everything about her was soft yet firm, a sensation Tetsuya would never tire of.

On the sofa, he held Saeko as she lay atop his chest, until suddenly, one of the bedroom doors opened and Shizuka walked out in her transparent pajamas, groggily heading to the kitchen.

She ignored the two people embracing on the sofa, poured herself a glass of water, and returned to her room.

"…" Tetsuya and Saeko looked at each other, then chuckled quietly at the absurdity of this big-breasted teacher.

"Y-You two! What are you doing hugging each other here?!"

It was already morning. Saeko and Tetsuya were still embracing on the sofa, asleep, with a happy smile on Saeko's face.

Hearing Takagi Saya's shout, they woke up and saw Saya standing there, her face flushed as she pointed at them, shocked, incredulous, embarrassed, and angry.

"Uhm~…" Saeko rose from Tetsuya's arms, rubbing her eyes and stretching slightly, showing off her more mature body after growing from a young woman into a fully grown adult.

Tetsuya also opened his eyes and sat up. He wasn't wearing any clothes, having exercised with Saeko the night before. Now he only had on a pair of boxer shorts, revealing a body that looked as if it had been carved by divine hands.

Rei, Shizuka, and Saya swallowed hard. Tetsuya's charm was overwhelming, they had to restrain themselves.

"H-Hurry up! Take a shower and get dressed!" Saya shouted, embarrassed and annoyed, turning her gaze away.

After showering and having breakfast, the five of them discussed what to do next. They couldn't just sit in this house and wait for the world to return to normal.

"So for now, let's look for your family members. Who lives closest to this area?" Tetsuya asked, sweeping his gaze over the four women.

Saya raised her hand and said, "Me. The Takagi family residence isn't far from here. My parents should be hiding there. We can go there."

Tetsuya nodded. "Alright then. Let's go. Bring all the weapons, ammunition, and food supplies. We can't stay here too long, I only have four days left."

The others were confused by what Tetsuya meant about only having four days left, assuming he would leave for his original home after that time. Only Saeko knew that Tetsuya would be returning to his own world in four days.

She wasn't sad that her lover would be leaving. After all, she already belonged to Tetsuya, and they could still talk in the group chat and meet again in the future.

After preparing everything they needed, they all returned to the bus parked not far from the house and drove toward the Takagi residence.
