Chapter 1 - Evil Points System

The goddess was becoming lazier and lazier.

Every day, she had to listen to humans' complaints, grievances, and laments.

Some did evil yet lived. Some died without anyone knowing why. Some were bullied, yet the god did not intervene.

"Annoying…" the goddess sighed in the sky, lazily rubbing her eyes.

She no longer wanted to hear these complaints, nor did she want to personally manage human good and evil every day.

So, she came up with a method—let the world run itself.

The goddess established the World Evil Points System.

The system had only one function: calculating each person's evil points.

The rules were extremely simple:

Every evil act had a different point value.

Accumulate 100 points, and all signs of life are lost.

Points are not displayed, no warnings are given to humans, and there is no leniency (a mysterious voice, just like algorithmic content restrictions on video platforms).

Evil points are calculated based on the impact of actions, not the actions themselves.

Examples:

Murder → 100 points

Theft → 20 points

Lying → only counted if it causes serious harm

Other evil acts → points are determined by the system itself

The system was cold and unfeeling.

The goddess yawned lightly from above, watching the world system begin calculating human sins.

Sudden human deaths occurred.

No pain, no struggle, no wailing.

Simply—life signs dropped to zero.

Some were finishing a vile deed when their heartbeat stopped, their breathing ceased, mouths still open, as if the world had simply switched off the "heartbeat" power.

Hospital monitors all read zero; doctors could only tremble and say, "She… she suddenly lost all signs of life, we don't know why."

In the streets, homes, and cities, evildoers screamed in terror.

No one understood the rules of death; no one knew when they might be next.

Fear spread.

People began to reflect.

Why was this happening?

They started carefully experimenting with their actions to see what might happen.

Soon, when someone died, their life signs immediately disappeared.

People began realizing that it seemed only evil acts led to death.

Test subjects could not predict point jumps; fear made them more cautious, but death struck unexpectedly.

Gradually, they understood:

There is an unknown force that does not care about intentions, only results and impact.

Lies, betrayal, deception—only counted if they cause serious harm.

Benevolent lies or harmless mistakes are not recorded.

Criminals in the cities fell into chaos and panic, while the virtuous were elated.

Yet some evildoers, fearing the accumulation of evil points, dared not commit wrongs but still tried to find loopholes to exploit…

The goddess smiled lazily, "Hmm… now it's finally a bit quieter."

The world automatically purged all evil deeds of sinners—fair and ruthless.

No one could escape the system, and no one could comprehend it.

And fear… was the truest punishment for evildoers.
