"Looks like no one is here," said the knight to the other as he looked around.
"Strange... Maybe we should knock at the doors and see if anyone answers," Luke replied.
They both knocked at the doors of the houses in the village but no one answered. Frustrated, Luke kicked open a door.
"Sir Edward! Here!" he called.
"What?"
"Looks like the house is empty."
"How can it be?"
"Maybe they abandoned the village?"
"But why would they?" Edward was confused. "Sir Luke, you should go and inform Lord Barron. I will look around and see if I can find something."
"As you wish, Sir Edward. May God be with you."
Luke mounted his horse and rode back to castle, while Edward stayed behind, trying to figure out why would a whole village disappear suddenly...
