Chapter 54 - Chapter 54

Chapter 54 Iron Man Experience Baby Launched

Ignoring the disdainful looks from the group around him, Finney Hellseg, maintaining his winning streak, happily checked the growth of the system's experience bar.

Although this might be a bit short-sighted, causing other mages to be unwilling to fight in the future, he couldn't care less about the upcoming launch of Iron Man Baby.

Finally, on March 8th, Women's Day, Tony called Finney, not to wish him a happy holiday, but to tell him that the new element was a success.

  "Really? Have you tested it?"

Finney was overjoyed that the long-awaited experience baby had finally launched. After this period of shameless play, the experience bar was already more than half full.

If Tony's armor was powerful enough, there was a high chance he could draw his fifth skill soon.

"Not yet, preparing to test it!" Tony replied on the phone, his excited tone indicating his own excitement.

"Wait for me, I'll test its performance for you,"

  Finney replied immediately.

It was time to test Iron Man's experience; he wondered how many Mordos it would be worth.

Finney, silently anticipating what was to come, took a day off from school and teleported directly to Tony's villa.

The villa had been completely transformed; if Finney hadn't been confident his teleportation portal was working correctly, he would have thought he'd been transported to the wrong place.

  "Did you wreck the place?"

Looking at the living room, a chaotic mess of various instruments, Finney found himself without even a place to sit.

"Give me a chicken nugget wrap first!"

Although Tony looked tired, his eyes were bright. Upon seeing Finney, his first action was to ask for a chicken nugget wrap.

After casually summoning a chicken nugget wrap and handing it to him, Finney couldn't help but ask, "You really created a new element?"

  "Of course!"

Tony mumbled, biting into the chicken nugget wrap, and then revealed the new elemental arc reactor gleaming with a triangular light on his chest.

  "Great!"

Finney couldn't help but feel excited. Tony's upgrade speed was quite fast; he could then grind in the armor during the day and against mages at night, gaining experience every day.

  Thinking this, Finney felt smug.

Tony, unaware that Finney was already planning to use him as a tool for grinding experience, quickly finished his chicken wrap, casually wiped his mouth, and said, "Are you sure you want to test the armor's performance with me?"

  "Hurry up!" Finney urged.

Even though Tony had been upgrading his armor recently, Finney was still confident he could defeat him; his daily hard training hadn't been in vain.

Without further ado, Tony immediately donned the armor. It was indeed much simpler than the initial version, but still far inferior to 'Possessed by Evil'.

The battle between the two continued in the Himalayas.

Since the battle with the Iron Monger, Tony had clearly taken these environmental factors into account, and the battle surprised Finney slightly.

Because of his insistence, Tony held nothing back in the battle, using all sorts of missiles and laser cannons. Fortunately, they had specifically chosen a location where even an avalanche wouldn't affect them.

Since both of them could fly, this battle was essentially an aerial combat, which surprised Finney, who had been grinding mage experience in Kamar-Taj.

Due to the high destructive power of firearms, Finney didn't dare hold back either. During the battle, he dodged Tony's missiles whenever possible, and for those he couldn't dodge, he tried to teleport away using portals. Only when teleportation failed did he rely on his "Demon Possession" defense to tank the attacks.

The back-and-forth battle lasted for over an hour, finally ending when Tony had used up all his weapon reserves and his energy was depleted.

Back at the villa, Finney immediately dispelled "Demon Possession." He had also expended a lot of energy in the battle, and after taking so many attacks, his whole body ached.      Even so, he was still happy. Looking at Tony, who was walking over after removing his armor, he raised an eyebrow and said, "I won!"

"I was just letting the kid win!"

Tony replied sternly, then added, "Besides, I still have a secret weapon I haven't used, afraid of hurting you."

Finney pouted, but considering the considerable experience he had contributed, he didn't argue with Tony. He checked his experience immediately after the battle.

In Mordo units, it was about five Mordos.

Finney didn't quite understand the system's calculation method. Leaving aside the Iron Monger's unexpected turn, he felt it was probably related to the use of skills. In this battle, he used all his abilities except for 'Violet Chicken Nugget Roll'.

Actually, if you include pre-battle preparation, he also used the Chicken Nugget Roll.

'Demon Possession' was self-explanatory, and he needed to use Flying Technique to fly in the air. 'Golden Grand Evolution Technique' helped accelerate the opening of the portal; he used almost every ability continuously.

In Kamar-Taj, when he sparred with Mordo and other sorcerers, he basically relied solely on 'Possessed by Evil'. He would only resort to levitation when he was likely to lose, indicating that the battle was nearly over.

The experience Tony brought made Finney extremely happy. According to his estimation, by fighting Iron Man during the day and sorcerers at night, he could acquire his fifth skill in a month at most.

"But how should I put it!"

Finney looked at Tony, thinking that Tony wasn't like the sorcerers of Kamar-Taj who needed to train every day. Getting him to fight alongside him every day was a problem.

"What do you think would happen if I handed the entire company over to Pepper?"

Before Finney could even come up with a reason, Tony asked him a question.

  "Hmm!?"

Finney was taken aback at first, then answered matter-of-factly, "It's great. Now it's practically like she's in charge, right? At most, it'll just lack a formal position."

Tony nodded silently, saying nothing more.

"Can you do me a favor?"

After thinking it over, Finney still couldn't come up with a good reason, so he simply said, "I want to improve my combat experience. How about spending some time sparring with me a few times?"

"Then I won't hold back next time."

Tony agreed without much thought. Given Finney's help, this small reward was nothing.

Finney was very happy to have solved his experience problem. In the following days, he frequently shuttled between school, Tony's villa, and Kamar-Taj, finding his life exceptionally fulfilling.

After handing over full control of the company to Pepper, Tony also had more free time, allowing him more time to research and improve his armor. Finney could feel Tony's progress in every battle.

With such frequent contact, Finney also learned about some of Tony's troubles.

"The Military Committee actually sent you a summons?"

When Finney arrived at Tony's villa this morning, he was surprised to see Tony all dressed up, seemingly about to leave. After asking, he understood what had happened.

"Yeah, they'll use any method to get it."

Tony turned to look at the row of Iron Man suits in the exhibition hall, a smirk playing on his lips. Pepper, who was tying his tie, couldn't help but ask, "So, have you figured out how to deal with this?"

"Don't worry, no one can take them from me," Tony said proudly, then glanced at the dismissive Finney beside him, adding, "Even if they could take them, they wouldn't be able to use them."
