Chapter 67 - Chapter 66

Chapter 66 How Can You Lose When the Dragon Charges At You!?

Finney Hellseg was unaware that his actions had once again shocked the world, especially those who witnessed the actual situation.

  S.H.I.E.L.D.

Stark, already under special surveillance, had noticed the robot attack the moment it began, but they didn't know what was going on.

Even many Hydra agents were confused, as Hydra wasn't entirely unified.

However, this didn't stop them from understanding the danger of these things. Before they could contact Tony, the battle had already begun. In this

life-or-death moment, Tony couldn't afford to answer the phone.

Having learned from the Iron Monger incident, they relied on the numerous surveillance devices near Stark Industries to see the battle immediately.

In the director's office, watching Finney Hellseg fly through the air, extend his palm, and unleash the terrifying destructive power of 'Explosion Magic,' Nick Fury couldn't sit still this time.

"Hopefully Natasha can bring good news."

Thinking this, Nick immediately dialed Black Widow's number via an encrypted line.

Natasha, who had just overheard Pepper's call, was also pondering. She noticed that Pepper, in her haste, had inadvertently omitted a name.

  "Finney..."

A thoughtful glint flashed in Natasha's eyes. If she wasn't mistaken, that was the name of the 'Silver Knight.'

Just then, Nick Fury's call came in. The first thing she heard was, "Any results from the investigation?"

Looking at Pepper's questioning expression, Natasha naturally replied into the phone, "Thank you, I happen to have some of these products left, I don't need them for now." She

then hung up immediately and apologized to Pepper, explaining, "It was a sales pitch."

Pepper didn't seem to care. She anxiously relayed Tony's instructions to Natasha: "Tony wants us to stay inside for now. We haven't found the person controlling those robots."

"For safety's sake, let's go to the lobby,"

  Natasha suggested, nodding.

Once in the lobby, using the excuse of going to the restroom, Natasha found a secluded spot and called Nick Fury back, giving a brief report:

"These robots are controlled by Ivan Vanko. Their aim is revenge against Tony. The Silver Knight's name is probably Finney Hellseg. From what we've observed so far, they don't seem to have much contact."

  "Only one name…?"

Nick Fury was somewhat dissatisfied. After a moment's thought, he finally ordered, "Remove your disguise. They're still fighting. Find an opportunity to contact him. Even if you can't find out his identity, try your best to get his contact information."

Natasha was somewhat surprised but still obeyed.

Besides S.H.I.E.L.D., many other unconventional channels allowed the world to witness this scene, such as the New Yorkers who risked their lives to record videos on their phones outside the building.

When the sky was ablaze with flames, everyone fell silent.

Not just from the video, but anyone in New York that day couldn't have missed it.

The people of New York were still quite naive; they hadn't experienced the Hulk's battle against Abomination, hadn't suffered an alien invasion, and didn't know Captain America might be Hydra.

Even Iron Man's debut was a limited edition, only the first half shown.

They were still relatively innocent, unlike the people of Gotham.

"Divine punishment! This is divine punishment! He's a messenger of God!"

Through the video filmed by the reckless crowd, people learned about Finney Hellseg again, and some even attempted to deify him, perhaps only then could he accept this scene.

"Weapons! He possesses weapons far more advanced than Stark's, extremely well-concealed, and terrifyingly powerful."

Some attributed Finney Hellseg's 'Explosion Magic' to a special weapon. While many were willing to believe this, those who truly knew the situation understood that Finney Hellseg didn't possess any weapons.      If language counts!

Quite coincidentally, a small unmanned camera planted by S.H.I.E.L.D. captured the entire process of Finney Hellseg chanting the spell. Although it was destroyed immediately after the magic was released, the video data was still transmitted back in real time.

Upon learning the incantation for 'Explosion Magic,' Hydra and S.H.I.E.L.D. immediately began experimenting.

  Various languages, accents, even postures.

They tried everything to simulate Finney Hellseg casting 'Explosion Magic,' but unfortunately, they lacked a system.

This thing isn't something you can use just by knowing the incantation; they also didn't know that if it weren't for the need to enhance its power, Finney Hellseg could actually cast it without chanting.

However, one thing everyone was now thinking about was the same:

Who exactly is the Silver Knight?!

Various underground channels and secret websites have once again begun offering a bounty for the Silver Knight's true identity, and the amount is so high that even Finney Hellseg himself might be tempted.

Actually, quite a few people know his identity; at least almost everyone in Kamar-Taj knows him, but besides Kamar-Taj, only Skye, Pepper, and Tony know.

The three of them certainly wouldn't reveal his identity, and as for the sorcerers of Kamar-Taj, that was even less likely. Leaving aside the status of a sorcerer's master, any sorcerer who reached Kamar-Taj was someone with experience.

Even Kasirius wouldn't betray Finney Hellseg for a little money.

Sorcerers all have their own pursuits!

At this moment, Finney Hellseg was unaware that he had become the most mysterious person in the world.

The three of them cleared away the remaining survivors and helped the injured, while Finney Hellseg chatted quietly with Rhode.

"Did you come up with the nickname 'War Machine' yourself?"

Finney Hellseg was still bothered by the title "Silver Knight." He was clearly a sorcerer, yet he had been given the title of knight; it just didn't sound right.

  "Yeah, is there a problem?"

After learning that Finney Hellseg was young and had a good personality, Rhode also overcame the shadow of the explosion magic, since he wasn't as familiar with Finney Hellseg as Tony was.

  "No, he's pretty cool!"

Finney Hellseg replied casually, secretly thinking about how to change the nickname "Silver Knight."

"And you?" It was impossible for Rhodes not to be curious about Finney Hellseg. He scrutinized the 'possessed by a demon' for a while and couldn't help but ask, "Who made this armor for you?"

  "How does it fly?"

"Uh!" Finney Hellseg was somewhat helplessly stunned for a moment before replying, "It's an heirloom. It's not the armor that flies; I myself can fly."

"But I haven't seen you without wings!"

Rhodes couldn't help but ask again.

  "..."

  This left Finney Hellseg speechless.

Fortunately, Tony interrupted their conversation, looking up at the sky and warning, "Something's coming; be careful."

If anyone found this battle the most unacceptable, it would undoubtedly be Ivan Vanko. He had thought it would be a joyous revenge feast, but he never expected things to turn out this way.

With dragons charging right at his face, how could he possibly lose?!

And then Finney Hellseg told him, just like that, he lost!
