Chapter 92 - Chapter 92 Actually, I am the Knight of Divine Punishment

Afterwards, Finney Hellseg helped Banner find a somewhat run-down little hotel. Because the checks there weren't strict, Banner, who was used to hardship, didn't complain. Having a place to sleep was already a blessing, so he didn't dare to be picky.

Finney was also exhausted after a day of continuous battles. After dealing with Banner's matter, he went back and rested immediately.

The next day, Finney's school classes were all in the afternoon, so he contacted Tony early in the morning and briefly informed him of Banner's situation.

"You mean he can change his body structure and transform into another person when he's angry? Is it a split personality?"

Tony asked with some interest on the phone.

"I don't know if it's a split personality, but I need you to arrange a place for him first. I don't want the military to be able to find him."

Finney said into the phone. Actually, he had initially thought that Hulk might be another personality of Banner, but after talking with Hulk yesterday, he felt that their situation was definitely not as simple as a split personality.

"I have an empty villa in New York. Take him there first, I'll be there in a bit."

Tony gave him the villa's address, and Finney, after noting it down, hung up the phone. He then found Banner, who still looked somewhat haggard, at the hotel.

Banner had thought a lot last night. He had considered sneaking away, but after hesitating, he ultimately decided against it.

He didn't know what to do after leaving. He wasn't sure if the military would continue to hunt him down without Ross, and he also didn't know what other way to deal with the Hulk inside him.

It was better to trust Finney for now. After all, Finney was the only man he had encountered who could interact normally with the Hulk, and his powerful and mysterious abilities could prevent the Hulk from causing destruction if it appeared.

"Will I be restricted while I'm with him?"

Banner asked Finney before leaving. Although he didn't have a good place to go for the time being, he didn't want to be imprisoned.

"With Hulk around, who can restrict your freedom!"

Finney rolled his eyes and said irritably. While Hulk wasn't the strongest on Earth, he was definitely among the top few, and restricting him wouldn't be easy.

Banner was silent for a moment. He didn't want to rely on Hulk's power; he just wanted to live a normal life.

Then, Finney opened a portal according to Tony's address and teleported directly to the villa. Soon after, Tony, wearing the Mark 6 suit, arrived.

He opened his visor, glanced at Finney in casual clothes, and then carefully examined the reserved Banner beside him.

"Hello, I think you should know me, so no need for introductions,"

Tony said, extending his hand to Banner. "Of course," Banner quickly replied, "Bruce Banner."

"Actually, I know you. You've written some very good papers."

Finney was slightly surprised that Tony knew something about Banner.

After shaking hands, before Banner could speak again, Tony suddenly reached out and swiftly poked Banner in the waist, causing him to cry out in pain. He then turned to Finney, puzzled, and asked, "Didn't you say you'd transform when stimulated?"

  "Stop messing around!"

Finney hadn't expected Tony to act so recklessly. It was only because he hadn't experienced the Hulk's power that he didn't know its strength; otherwise, he definitely wouldn't have dared to do this, otherwise, even several suits of armor wouldn't be enough to dismantle it.

"Sorry, this kid said your transformation changes your body structure, and I couldn't resist taking a look,"

Tony explained, turning back to Banner.

Banner's face darkened, but being under someone else's roof, he could only frown and say, "Believe me, you don't want to see him."

"I'm warning you, don't do anything rash, don't challenge Dr. Banner's temper,"

Finney also warned Tony, continuing, "The Hulk can withstand artillery fire with his bare hands and dismantle tanks. Don't provoke him if you're not confident."

Tony scoffed, his expression dismissive, but said nothing more. Entering the villa, after removing his armor, he asked Banner, "Why is the military hunting you?"

"They want to obtain the Hulk's power to make weapons,"

Banner answered honestly, his expression somber. Otherwise, he should have actively cooperated with the treatment.

  "You didn't resist?"

  Tony pressed for an explanation.

Banner, unsure how to respond, couldn't very well say that the person who led the arrest was almost his father-in-law. He could only shake his head with a wry smile.

Finney, noticing Banner's frustration, explained, "The power belongs to the Hulk, but the Hulk is simple-minded, a bit hot-tempered, and only knows how to fight. So it's not that he didn't resist, he just failed."

  "Okay!"

Tony looked at the reserved Banner, finding it hard to believe he was the kind of person who could dismantle a tank with his bare hands. His curiosity about the Hulk only grew.

"If you're willing, you can stay here temporarily. There should be fewer people provoking you."

Hearing Tony's words, Banner wore a complicated expression. Judging from Tony's earlier behavior, he didn't quite trust him.

"I have seven doctoral degrees. If you need any help, just let me know."

Banner didn't want to be a dependent; he wanted to repay with his own abilities.

"Okay!" Tony respected capable people, and Banner clearly belonged to that category, so he didn't refuse but nodded in agreement.

Finney, having arranged Banner's accommodation, didn't immediately suggest having the Hulk appear more often. The most important thing now was to stabilize Banner; only by letting him experience this free and enjoyable life would he not easily leave.

They couldn't be too hasty in persuading the Hulk to come out.

Finney didn't concern himself with what happened afterward, only repeatedly reminding Tony not to anger Banner and cause the Hulk to appear, otherwise the consequences would be severe.

Faced with Finney's repeated warnings, Tony took it more seriously and eliminated any thoughts of provoking Banner from his mind.

In the afternoon, Finney arrived at school. Perhaps due to the wealth of experience gained yesterday, coupled with the temporary perfect resolution of the situation, he felt relaxed and had a smile on his face, looking very happy.

However, when he entered the classroom and saw Billy, with dark circles under his eyes, staring intently at him, his smile vanished.

  "What are you doing?!"

Feeling a little uneasy under his gaze, Finney shifted to the side.

  "Finney, aren't we best friends?"

  "No!"

  Finney shook his head decisively.

Billy immediately gave him a resentful look and said firmly, "I am your best friend, and there's something you have to tell me truthfully!"

  "What is it?"

Finney looked at Billy, wondering what he was going to ask.

Billy took a deep breath and asked solemnly and seriously,

"Do you know the Divine Punishment Knight?"

  "Uh..."

Finney was slightly taken aback. He had thought Billy would directly guess whether he was the Divine Punishment Knight, since he had considered the possibility when Billy suddenly left yesterday. He hadn't expected Billy to be so conservative, only guessing that he had gone to inform the 'Divine Punishment Knight.' He couldn't help but show an interested expression and said,

"Actually, I am the Divine Punishment Knight!"

  "You!?"

Billy didn't show any doubt or disbelief, but instead displayed a great deal of contempt, saying, "Finney, even if you really know the Divine Punishment Knight and want to help him hide his identity, you don't need to do this."

"I'm not stupid. If you were a knight of divine punishment, I'd eat this table up today!"
