Chapter 39 - Chapter 39

Emma nodded, turned to Sack, and said:

"Cindy and I live together, she'll also live in the apartment I choose."

"That's better, we can have a threesome and no one will bother us," replied Sack.

After a few more words, Sack went down to a restaurant with Emma, they both had breakfast, and then Sack said goodbye to her.

After Emma left in a private car, Sack decided to walk around the area where he was.

"It's really hard to increase the affinity of some women. Eleira is currently the best candidate. Before the exams, her affinity reached 8 out of 10. A little affection and sex, and maybe I can get her to 10 out of 10, thus partially removing the restriction imposed on me by the system.

...

That afternoon, Sack went to his personal apartment. He checked the cores in his backpack, then lay down on his bed.

...

Ding!

Jena: Sack, you're watching the news!

Sack had just woken up.

"Why does it seem like dangerous things happen when I wake up in this apartment?" thought Sack, still somewhat sleepy.

Sack: Sorry. I was sleeping.

Sack turned on the TV and switched to the international sports channel.

"Breaking news: an A-rank dungeon has become an Abyssal-rank dungeon in the country of Aristen. The dungeon had initially been described..."

Sack: You mean the Abyssal dungeon?

Jena: Yes, my cousin went in with her father's guild team. She was going to try to continue leveling up with a group of A- and S-rank awakened ones.

Sack: How unfortunate. Your cousin was a beauty.

Jena: You evil bastard.

Sack laughed and then continued typing:

Sack: I'm sorry. I hope your cousin manages to get out of the dungeon successfully.

Sack: You said she went in with a group of high-ranking awakened ones. The chances are not slim.

Jena: Bastard...

Jena called Sack directly.

"Can't you do anything?" Jena asked in a distressed voice.

"I'm just a C-rank awakened," said Sack, still lying in bed.

Jena's voice broke, and she said:

"Bastard, I love you, don't lie to me. My father told me that you're an irregular."

"Wow, so they spread the information among the big guilds," thought Sack.

He sighed and said to Jena:

"That doesn't mean I'm capable of entering and leaving the abyssal dungeons. If that were the case, there would be no abyssal dungeons left in the world."

It was true, Sack wasn't the only irregular in the world, and being an irregular didn't always mean having great combat power; it depended on the Class that the person had awakened.

"I don't mind if you go out with her. Can you save her?" Jena asked in a distressed voice.

"Apparently she loves her cousin," Sack thought as he sat down on the bed.

Knock knock knock.

"Looks like they're from the Awakened Association," Sack muttered to himself.

"Jena, I'll call you back in a few minutes. The Awakened Association is here," Sack ended the call.

...

Aleria, dressed in her formal attire, saw Sack wearing a white sweater and gray shorts.

"Good morning, Mr. Sack Wilson."

Sack checked the time on his cell phone. It was 4:32 a.m.

"Good morning, Miss Aleria," said Sack, leaving the door open and then walking over to the coffee maker to make some coffee.

Aleria and two other men in suits entered.

Aleria saw the news channel.

"So, you are aware of what just happened," Aleria said in a formal tone.

"No, I'm not. I just found out," Sack said calmly.

"Sir, Wilson. The abyssal dungeon you came out of became an S-rank dungeon. That dungeon was under the authority of the Awakened Association, but in order to close it, we had to cooperate with some important guilds, and some Awakened were injured." Aleria wanted to tell him that the dungeon was still dangerous even though its rank had decreased.

Sack just looked at her without getting upset.

"What do you plan to do?" Aleria asked with a steady gaze.

Sack said nothing, still remembering that Jena wanted him to help Nicole.

"Mr. Wilson, we know you've been exchanging cores for a fairly high commission. The country is willing to offer you 100,000 golden tickets if you help us close the dungeon." Aleria said, but seeing that Sack did not respond, she continued. "The abyssal dungeon is unstable, we haven't told the public that, we are preparing the evacuation, we will announce it if you reject our offer."

Sack poured himself some coffee, drank a little, and continued thinking.

-I want an agreement that guarantees the safety of Amanda, Lia, Lineth...

Sack mentioned all his women, then finished his coffee.

Aleria nodded, got up, and made a phone call. A few minutes later, she told him that the president of the Awakened Association had agreed.

...

Sack wrote to Amanda and told her he would be busy because the Awakened Association had asked him to conduct a second examination to corroborate the data they had previously obtained.

She knew it was thanks to Sack that she had made it out of the abyssal dungeon alive, so she didn't find Sack's explanation strange.

...

Dressed in a dark blue shirt made from the skin of an A-rank monster, black pants, a black trench coat made from the skin of an A+ rank Arcane bat, and a white mask, Sack walked toward the abyssal dungeon followed by a beautiful woman with long blue hair, light blue eyes, white skin, and a slender figure, radiating an elegant beauty. She wore a black suit and black gloves, and had two daggers on each side of her waist. The woman accompanying Sack was Selene, a high-ranking supervisor of the Awakened Association. She was practically a 10 out of 10. Selene's class was Assassin, and her rank was S.

Sack carried his D-rank sword and a dark red A+ rank sword in his hands. In addition to the swords, Sack carried a storage bag with various low-rank items.

...

The journalists at the scene took photos of Sack and Selene.

Sack saw Jena on one side of the fence protecting the entrance to the abyssal dungeon.

Security let Jena through, and she approached Selene. Selene's job would be to protect Jena, who was not Awakened.

Jena was wearing pants, a blouse, and black boots made from A+ rank monster skin.

Sack explained to Jena that if she entered the dungeon with him, it was very likely that she would awaken upon leaving the dungeon.

She agreed to enter the dungeon with Sack, even though Jena's father did not agree, as he was worried about losing his daughter.

Jena did not speak directly to Sack because she knew he did not want to be recognized later, at least until his stats permanently reached S rank.

"Good luck!"

"Conquer the dungeon!"

"There's drama here," thought Sack, then he saw Selene and said calmly:

"Let's go in!"
