Nora's POV
The water glass nearly slips from my trembling fingers. "What should we do?"
"Nothing," James and Kevin respond simultaneously, catching everyone off guard.
"But you just mentioned the Horsemen are orchestrating something massive," I stammer.
"That's correct," Kevin confirms. "However, that doesn't mean we should take action immediately. You've endured a demanding and exhausting day, Nora. Rest tonight, and we'll discuss this further tomorrow morning. There's little we can accomplish until I obtain additional intelligence, which Ema is currently gathering. Johan is quite disturbed and hopes to rally others to our cause. The more allies we secure, the greater our odds of eliminating the Horsemen permanently."
I place the glass on the kitchen counter and turn toward James, desperate to see his composed, striking features for reassurance.
"We should get some sleep," he suggests gently.
